Full ranky stuff is here or at least that which has been so far reached.

It's amazing how few things are six-limbed. I've been trying to find six-limbed things. There are insects, but beyond that not much else - next stop is the Cambrian Explosion, all sorts of odd bodyplans existed then, will have a delve.

If it was an insect and this is the larval stage and it pupated would it become Mothra?

The biology nerding going on in this thread is making me so happy, it's mad.

Indeed. I need to see the movie a few more times and try to figure out the limb configuration better. I'm sure a picture of a model would also do the trick. (Any one who works in CGI know anyone who worked on the movie willing to risk a job for us seeing a model of the monster? Doubt it but it's worth a shot)

When I saw it something related to lizards or amphibians came to mind but the relation to whales in the Slusho story makes me think that it is closer to those than anything. Who knows. It could turn out to be a giant mutated bat. THAT would be funny.

I've got it as nothus or spurius (Known father and unknown father respectively)

How's about Ingens Leo?

What about MGP's little buddies? What is their scientific designation?

Cooties... Very Happy

What they didn't get into in the movie, or may in the sequel, is that all Marlena would of had to do is whip out the "cootie spray" or cross her fingers, and they wouldn't have messed with her...

So wait, did he have two sets of little arms, or just one? I've seen pictures with either type so it's driving me mad.
