the Etruscan vulture, hammer raised,
is he Iblis, is he Hades himself?
reverse it, take away the 'r' and 'c',
and having departed EtrUscan for another tongue,
you'll have the guy who built the boat.

A solution?

Googled "Etruscan vulture hammer" and got:
Quote:
Charun - Demon who torments the souls of the dead in the Underworld. Similar to Greek Charon. He guards the entrance to the Underworld. Pictured with the nose of a vulture, pointed ears, and wings. His attribute is a hammer with which he finishes off his victims.

If you start with "Charon", reverse it and take away "r" and "c" you get Noah. But that could be guessed from "the guy who built the boat" pretty easily, so is that it? If you start with "Charun" you get "nuah". Maybe this relates to the "U" in "EtrUscan". Confused
