I'd like to see a 3d model (manipulatable, of course) of MGP's skeletal and muscle structures. I'd like to peel the layers.

Maybe the holes are where the parasites chill.

Maybe the bigger holes have something to do with underwater breathing? Gills of some sort?

I sort of wondered about the dual gills/lungs combo. If he was "deep sea" then he didn't swim up for air.

ok, those little arms ARE moveable. This picture proves it.

see the lines of the joint? you gotta look a little more carefully, but you will see some out of place horizontal lines.

It looks like he has eyes on his chest. Maybe they're just dots.

Mmm, dunno. You could be right about that.

I was back reading this thread and I noticed there was some argument over what the deal was with it's secondary (primary?) source of nutrition. Looking at the chest area close up, it doesn't appear to have any kind of... fallace...

These hole on his back remind me the breathing system of some insect species , for exemple locust have breathing hole like that on their abdomen ....

Here is a picture :

You can see small white holes in the locust abdomen . It uses these hole to breath ...

Probably. I mean, what else could the holes on the back be for? Also, why would a deep sea creature need them in the first place? On the other hand, maybe it's not really a deep sea creature, maybe it was in the ground or something and it's just been there for so long the sea kind of grew over it (which, scientifically sounds idiotic, but you know what I'm getting at.)

On a side note. Remember when a bunch of people were theorizing that the debri from the chaui station attack flying through the air at the end was being projected through blow holes? I spot about six holes on that thing's back. That theory's looking pretty plausible right about now...

I wonder what it used to make the debris shoot out of the water in the Chuai Station Videos....

edit: oops didn't see the above post. But still i doubt it lodged the debris into the holes and then fired them out.

I know some insect larvaes can breath underwater using the oxygen directly from water . For example Dragonfly larvaes can do that .

MGP is said to be a baby , so maybe he is a larvae of some sort and can breath underwater ...

Maybe he cames to the surface for his first "air breath" ....

swimming form

y'know, i've been thinking, that the creature doesn't have much of a form for swimming....im thinking that the limbs somehow 'fold up' and provide a much more compact mode for water travel....somehow, these new pics might provide clues....so it looks more like a crab with a tail while in the water?

hmm.....weird and creepy
