I think that 9/30 is probably just a place holder. Most things don't come out on such even days. It'll probably come out a lot sooner than that. (at least I hope)

Awesome. Hopefully by then they'll have an official name for the it...I don't know about ya'll, but I'm getting tired of hearing people call him "Clovey", MGP is getting kind of old, and "The Parasite" sounds like a club where you will always contract AIDS from.

Hopefully it'll be a good menacing name like Godzilla, one that will haunt those who believe in Santa Claus.

how about a life size marlena action figure?

I'm in.....I bet I know where we can get one, too......

where?

preferrably one that doesn't involve inflation

I bet you could find at least a few people here who would rather like an inflatable Marlena. Wink

As far as the 9/30 release, I suppose they may want to wait until after the DVD has been out for a bit so as not to ruin the mystery for those who choose not to see it in theaters.

I would love a Marlena doll. She seems like a good lay to me.

But on subject 70 points of articulation on a damn 12" toy is ridiculous. And at $99.00, it BETTER be able to do my fuckin' taxes in a flash.

She does seem like a good lay, but, you know, in person. Doll sex is just gross. But whatever, to each his own. I wonder if she's into girls....

Anyways. I would never buy a Cloverfield toy, I might buy one for a kid, but not for myself. Action figures (if thats what they toy is) are for kids, not adults. And I wouldn't pay $99 for one either, maybe $20.

In about 1 year and 5 months I will be a certified Accountant in Canada. Not bad, I'll be 21 and an accountant...so I could do the taxes, but I think watching the toy do them would be funnier to watch.

Question to all the guys out there: If a hot girl was walking down the street wearing a revealing top and holding onto a Cloverfield toy, would you gawk at her cleavage or the toy?

Me being the uber gay female that I am, would stare at the cleavage.

I was joking about the doll!!! I'm a guy btw.

And yeah, I agree. I would never buy an action figure either. I barely even buy videogames. I'm trying to rationalize this Xbox 360 investment. However, if a Cloverfield Videogame were to be released, I might pick it up.

Provided it was one in which you get to play on XBL as either civilian or Military or little monster and have to either kill or escape NY. Like, get to a certain rendezvous, you know?

I was really hoping Sideshow was going to do it. They put out some great stuff. Hasbro....not really. Even a McFarlane figure would be OK.

70 points of articulation? SEVENTY?!

I'm struggling to think how it could have so many, it will be interesting to see.

Might hold out for the cuddly version with velcro parasites.
