14 inches tall, though? 10 parasites and lady liberty's head? a little more than a toy.

i just ordered mine, haha... i'm thrilled about it.

i'm thinking the interchangeable heads will be awesome. the monster's mouth seems to unfold outward, and look more dragon-like when it roars. i'm thinking that will be the "agitated" head. when its mouth is closed (like the scene with hud), it has a much more rounded, humanoid face... i'm thinking that will be the "calm" head. i can't frickin' wait.

i think that what i personally mistook for little t-rex arms on his chest are the people sucking tubes. but who knows, i just can't wait to get my 3 foot tall mgp vacuum with (no nevermind there are way too many bad ways that this could end)

but i will say that one of the first things that i thought when i read this is "DAMN I HOPE THAT THEY MAKE IT SO THAT YOU CAN PUT THE SOL HEAD ON THE MONSTER BODY" wouldn't that just be friggin classic?!?!!

The 'people sucking underbelly' came from 1-18-08.com. ::EDIT-- no wait, it came from the 1-18-08 debunking blog. My bad:: There's nothing about it on the Hasbro site, and I think people are taking it waaaaaay out of context. The little stubby arms are either flippers or claws, because they have joints. Tentacles do not have joints. Most likely, they're spade-shaped flippers, like the fins on a ceolocanth, or some sort of marine dinosaur.

I might be wrong, but the idea of MGP somehow absorbing people through his chest is just too far fetched, especially where the monster was designed to be 'realistic'. If you watch the video of the bombing run on youtube, you can see that there IS something that moves on his chest around the sternum, but these look more like little centipede legs; like the little wavy things on the bottom of a shrimp or a lobster.

At least, that's my 2 cents.
