If I had to pick a favorite line I'd probably choose his exchange with Marlena concerning Superman / Garfield, like someone else said before. Hud really helped make this movie good with his comic relief amidst the chaos.

I really love the homeless guy line and the something terrible line.
I have to add the one where he tells Rob it's time to leave the electorinics store now.
I just loved Hud.

The "Terrible" lines are priceless..

I can imagine myself learning all his lines from watching the movie over and over.

Great lines and great delivery! We hardly see the guy and yet I fell in love with him!

Brilliant comedy from multiple perspectives, first, how would you not see a flaming homeless person, and second the fact that it is right before the little things attack.
