While I'm on a capitol letter rant, I'd also like to frenetically gesticulate over the fact that Ronnie, DEAD Ronnie, gave Connie a hug.

Here's what I think:

Possibility A:
Ronnie and Brody are in love. An accident occurs in which Ronnie is presumed dead. Brody kills himself by chucking himself into a body of water. Ronnie makes some desperate deal with some entity that allows her to go back in time to beg us to stop Brody's suicide. The entity is somewhat malevolent and plays tricks on us.

Possibility B:
Ronnie and Brody are in love. An accident occurs that kills Ronnie. Brody kills himself by chicking himself into a body of water. Ronnie, from BEYOND THE GRAVE, makes some deal with some entity allowing her to come back from the dead, in compromised form, to beg us to prevent Brody's suicide. The entity is malevolent and tries to ruin her plans

Possibility C:
Aliens invade the earth and plant tiny little mind-control-worms in Ronnie's brain. The worms make her THINK she's in love with a man named Brody, but really Brody doesn't exist outside her own imagination. please note the lack of photographic evidence of his existence. Ronnie maintains a blog for her imaginary lover, writes films for her imaginary lover, and legally changes her name to Icon. Her goldfish named Malice drinks a magic growth hormone and turns into the Cloverfield monster. The alien worms make Ronnie get lots of tattoos and join the Suicide Girls. the end.
