 		This is a movie. My point is unless you see people dead dead (assuming we're not getting all Jason Vorhees), they can still be alive and show up in a sequel. The only one you see dead dead is Hud. You see Marlena explode, but if the demand is high enough for lizzy caplan to come back Marlena may very well come back due to extra good doctors being on hand. Same goes for everyone else. Or they could dye and grow out her hair and she becomes someone else.

i've seen this tossed around a lot. this idea that hud was bitten in half. has this been proven somewhere that i haven't seen? it seems to me rob & beth would have had a much more horrified reaction than they did if they came up on half of huds body. also, i would think there would be much more blood (on both his body and the camera) if he were bisected.

They were horrified. They spent like 2 minutes under the bridge just trying to get themselves together.

Did the tail land on jason, or just around him? I can't remember. But if it doesn't land on him (and crap luck if it does) he could possibly (like the same chances of a giant sea creature never seen before attacking NYC) be alive.

The tail/tentacle/arm landed directly on top of him, he's dead

 		The tail landed flat on the light pole he was standing on, crushing it completely. So it stands to reason that the tail pounded Jason in to the concrete.

no marlena did XD i could just amagine her with her opened up stomach XD sorry sorry lol yea jason i agree.... but it looked like the taild landed right on top of him.

 		this might be a terribly stupid question...but the soldier being wheeled into the makeshift hospital who was missing half his stomach, was he dead?

k. i was too busy looking at other things and figured he could still be in critical after only seeing a glimpse of him and the fact that there was a couple of people around him as he were prioritized.

All along, I've been of the opinion that Hud was bitten in half. My thought was, how could he NOT be? Did you see the size of those teeth that were coming at him? But at the same time, I would expect to see some more blood splattered around. And also, I would expect a little more horrified reaction to seeing your buddy's mangled body rather than just hearing Rob yell "Hud! HUD!" They went batshit after Marlena exploded...you would think seeing Hud-chunks dropping out of the sky might illicit a similar reaction.
