Yeah. The first time I didn't pay it much attention, but my second viewing noticed she totally did flash him a grin. I thougt that was cool.

Yeah, but...from all of her other interviews, it seems like she's kinda reclusive. I dunno, that's probably a terrible impression to get.
All I know is she doesn't want people to approach her on the street.

But I love listening to her talk. I like her voice.

 		Marlene was great... My favourite moment was seeing her laughing in subway room. As HUD said her, he would be dead without her support. She laughed and answered: "Yes, you'd be dead". This laughing was very impressive and cute.

And people, she had really the same character and tension mood like in MySpace. So knowing her it was twice tragical to know she was dead.

This movie isn't really nice to its characters.

LOL. I don't think she's reclusive. She's just not all about being a big celeb with cameras following her around 24/7. I'd much rather see that attitude than the typical Paris Hiltonesque famewhores that most of Hollywood seems to be overrun with lately.

But I think that's getting a bit offtopic from the film. I kind of wish I knew who decided what the characters were like on the myspaces since both Abrams/Reeves and the actors themselves had nothing to do with them. Of course I know it was production people, but who was deciding who liked what and that sort of thing. Because as Lizzy said previously, she had no idea what was on Marlena's myspace, so it's not as if she was playing the character knowing the way the character was outlined there.

I actually thought in some ways Marlena's myspace seemed to not totally jive with what was being seen on screen. The attitude was right, but outside of the drunk comment at the beginning I didn't get the idea that Marlena was supposed to be this big partying queen. If that were the case then wouldn't she have been the life of the party and not texting people in the corner?

I think Marlena's the acerbic, reclusive chick who really opens up when you get a few drinks in her. Coincidentally, she really opens up when you get parasitic spider venom in her too.

She speaks of being drunk every time she's met Rob, so that indicates a fair amount of partying. She wasn't really planning on being at that party, so I can see her not engaging too heavily in it. Seems like she was about ready to ditch it to head someplace else.
