There is a total of 12 letters in meltyourscab, and including 'COM' and the asterisks, there are 12.

 		Relay From Kane
Heads up...

Got a call tonight from "private"....and turns out it's from the phone relay service - same service that Kane used previously to contact chaos. Guess tonight it was my turn.

The operator said there was an incoming from Kane. I accepted and he began to transmit a message from Kane. I'm paraphrasing most of it since it caught me entirely off guard without a pen, but I did go get one during the wait.

First up, Kane requested that I find Vicki. Initially I wasn't sure if he (operator) had said Vicki or Becky, but I asked for clarification on my turn and the operator said he wasn't allowed to participate in the conversation. I said he wasn't, I didn't know which he said, but he said he could ask for clarification from the caller, Rolling Eyes so I said yeah do that then...and Kane relayed back to find Vicki (how he'd spell that, not positive - I've seen Vicki, and Vickie, and Vicky...so something to work out). And "my dear Vicki"...

I asked about how to go about doing that, he said to get the others to help. Then I raised the obvious question, relaying that Chris Lee has said he (Kane) was dead...can he prove to me it's actually Kane.

Two more relays came from that:

and in this relay, I was not sure whether this was just a sound by the operator, like he began to speak and then stopped mid syllable, or if it was part of the message but after the first 153 he made a sound like "dah" and I thought 'dot' or "uh"...but he went on with the numbers so I just focused on writing them down.

Then Kane answered with a longer reply that I tried to jot down shorthand, and this is the essential gist of his explanation on proving he is alive...well, according to him, he is immortal...deathless. He said he has done everything possible to make contact with us behind the scenes without drawing a confrontation, has been to Sacremento, Austin, to New York City, to Shreveport Shocked to Salt Lake City to show us that Visce exists all around us. He's been watching us, wanted us to find the information he has planted for us behind the scenes. Also that he's tried to let us know that all that Chris Lee has been telling us is a lie, so don't listen to him. He (Kane) is immortal, deathless. And watching. He said Vicki is the only thread to the truth about Visce, find her.

On my turn, I asked - for a sort of BTS clarification, should we try to breech the system or leave that alone. The operator relayed that Kane had said 'I tried the vials' and then the line went dead.

So...to recap
I must (get the others to help) find Vicki (my dear Vicki), the only thread to the truth

And on a more amusing note...I can just imagine what that operator guy must've been thinking, especially when I had him tell Kane that Chris Lee told us he was dead, had been murdered, and should we breech the system... I bet that's a hell of an interesting job to have! Laughing

 		Vicky uh, added me to MSN a few nights back, but I haven't posted it because I have a helluva lot of things going on IRL. To sum up our (brief) conversation, she was asking me if I knew where Kane was, or why she has not seen him in the past 2 weeks..

Refresh the page to make sure you start with a blank slate. Click anywhere on the page to make sure you're typing in the window, then type vanity and the text should fade in for you. Oh, and in case anyone wonders how I came to that, I noticed an onKeyPress event in the source, so I figured I'd give it a shot and voila.

K, got another call earlier, stayed on 10 mins before the relay supervisor said there was no activity on the other line and disconnected.

A little bit later, got another one...this time with more urgency.

He asked if we found her yet. I said not yet but we're still working on it.
He said please do hurry. I'm afraid we don't have much time on our hands left (or left/on our hands)
I said I will enlist the others to find her
He said I'm afraid that the eve of March will mean the 2nd protocol when the past is erased.

Operator's accent made this unclear, even when I asked for a repeat:

The innocent that/dead? I got "the innocent" it sounded like, and then the last word "that" or "dead" - operator had accent so best I could do.

He said I have given you plenty I have been restricting access to the Visce server. They will find her before you do. Act quick.

Then the call was disconnected.

Not sure whether he meant they as in Visce/whoever, would find her before I do...or that all you guys who are on the ball will find her before I do Laughing but either way, we have a deadline apparently...

Now I can catch up - had some other stuff going on since the first call so haven't been able to get on here until now. Hope this helps clear anything up you guys have been uncovering. I'll go recap...

Why did Kane bother to point out those specific cities??

If "the innocent ______" is important it may need clarification.
