Well done, Scuba! You're the man!
Alternatively, a way to express those words would be:

I was trying to be nice earlier about you posting things in a thread that already exists and tagging things but I don't think I can be very nice much longer.
Find a thread that already exists, that is relevant to your current train of thought, that you can post things in or I'm going to punch you in the face. Okay, maybe not really.
But I would like to.

Basically, Fredo52, what they are pointing out to you is the part of the "READ THIS FIRST" is the part that says "Keep discussion of the same subject(s) in the same thread".
Around these parts (Unfiction), we don't mind if the conversation within a thread wavers a bit. If you go completely off topic, it should probably be a new thread, but many of the things you have posted could be collected under one thread, such as "My thoughts on Cloverfield in General" or such.
That said...
Those of you freaking out at Fredo52 have put up some funny stuff (I like that waterslide one alot ), but you have to make an effort to explain to him if he says stuff like "Ok, I read it, umm.......what does this have to do with me?".
Stuff like "YOUR POSTS ARE BAD AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD." isn't helping anybody.
So to all parties involved... enjoy your stay.
EDIT: Here, try this: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting

Pretty much everybody in those posts is just having fun now, because he keeps making threads for random nonsense. Also, he doesn't seem to have any clue on how to communicate using a message board, let alone one like this. It's unlikely he will learn, having nothing intelligent or meaningful to say in these threads. Let us have our fun for the night, man.
So what if my comment helped nobody? I had fun when I posted it and that comment was in no way the most harsh. This'll be over soon.
Did reprimanding us help you feel important, Sir?

Just as a random note. I like your avatar. Is it from anything specific?

No, it didn't "make me feel important". I was just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm not stopping you from making your comment, I'm just pointing out that sometimes ignorance is not the same as purposeful stupidity. I'm trying to teach him to actually have a clue on how to communicate using a message board.

Did you stop to think your 'fun' interrupted other people's 'fun', including myself and other people that have to deal with the 'fun'?
This is why they say "Play Nice" around here. SirQuady has a good point in that you can have a little fun and be constructive at the same time. There are examples to be seen around here, and tenured members like SirQuady could show you even more than I am aware of. You are being told this because the things that SirQuady learned and now passes to you are what made this place what it is and worth coming to. I came here for the same reasons as the other people who call the Cloverfield forum home. I learned how things worked here, and my intention has been to help make them better - for the sake of those that came here for the same reason I did. Is disrupting others how you treat your friends and supporters? As the old saying goes, don't sh!t in your own bed.

Good points. The place you go to is only as good as the standards that are kept there. Wether you agree with them or not.
