That is definitely an A 10 Thunderbolt. That is my all time favorite jet. It is mostly a US fighter, but it is also used by the Israeli military, and at least one more but it escapes my mind. It is used for ground assaults and it can whoop some ass, specially that gatlin gun on the front
Edit - for people old enough to remember. The Cobra Rattler on the original 80s GI Joe was an A 10

TO me the picture screams "Hey artist guy, but planes and boats shooting at stuff"
Everything is aiming the wrong way, those planes would run into each other, you dont shoot rockets or use a VLS for a target that's like 10 feet from ya.

Plus the whole ships on right firing up in the sky and not down when that close is strange? Maybe they are defending?
Or maybe the person who made the picture didn't know wtf they were doing and were just making a military like scene at night.

I think that it's Tagruato's personal army in the picture, not the US.

Im pretty sure that what your looking through is a helocopter cockpit. Maybe a apache. Also an A10 gatling gun is rediculously strong. That thing can let off alot of rounds in a matter of seconds. They are usually called tank killers. I dont think that its a A10 though. Doesnt seem realistic cause a plance wouldnt fly that low to hit a target.

yes thank you something relevant!
im gonna look into it as well but im sure by the time im done you will all have figured it out
what topics have you people been starting? How have you been contributing? For all we know this ARE is over. There hasn't been anything knew in over a week. I agree with you on some of the topics that are being posted but seriously come on!
Besides, i think your posts are hilarious! And very hypocritical because they had no substance either other than trying to make yourselves bigger than the rest of us.
Seriously people... its slow right now. Don't dog on what everyone else is talking about. And quit waiting for someone else to contribute and than praise them and slam everyone else... instead why don't you find something to contribute yourselves.
Now i'm done with my rant... Friends?

Ahhhhh yes, now there is someone thinking. Good Ole Spooky/Spectre! Talk about some real fire power. The AC-130 gunship can lay some serious smack-down. Steel rain hellfire! BAD ASS! I have had the pleasure of working with them for a few years and have actually witnessed the full fire power of them in action several times. The target cannot see what is kicking it's ass and cannot hide from it because it will see you in any condition day or night. The best depiction I have seen of in film was Transformers. And if the AC-130 cannot destroy the target they will lock their powerful laser on it and await larger munitions from fighter jets or bombers. I have some video's somewhere.

Agreed. AEGIS cruisers could engage this thing from a thousand miles away using Tomahawk missiles. At the apparent close range, all they'd probably be able to use is some 5-inch guns. The ships on the left appear to be Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates. The planes in the top center look to be F-18 Hornets, and I also think the one on the right is an A-10 Warthog.

The planes in the upper left are F-22's...and of course the A-10.... And yes it would fly that low for a drill run.
Funny part is,,,ALL those planes are land based aircraft, so wherever this engagement took place, it would have to be in range enough so that these aircraft were relatively close by (combat range less than 300 miles) for them to engage so quickly.

Our military is really not equipped to deal with something like this, even if we could kill it with a very large conventional bomb.
Everything we have is designed around static targets and shock effect. This monster absorbed countless rounds of tank fire/artillery...shoulder fired missiles, sticks of 1,000lb bombs (only two hit?), etc.
Consider this tactically....A tank typically only carries about 40 rounds for its main gun. Anything firing artillery munitions might carry far less, especially in terms of missiles....general ammunition of all kinds would be gone after just a few minutes of near constant firing. Panicked soldiers and uncoordinated attacks would be bled dry and after each encounter our army would be retreating more or less unarmed. Aircraft would be next to useless because of their extremely limited payloads. The military would be 'forced' to at most do what it can to direct the creature's movements a bit...but could they? Obviously the monster did not like being fired at, but then it never retreated either, seemingly advancing 'into' the fire.
