I had a note in my game hotmail account this morning that read....

cemgate2002 , When you're finally holding all the cards, why does everyone else decide to play chess?

I thought "Whoa....communication! All Right!"

Till I noticed that hotmail had "blocked" the image attached to the email, which was an ad > > "As Seen on TV"...."How to look younger in weeks"....Wrinkle Reducer"

 		I think it's just Spam but here are the particulars. (Since I deleted it, I went to my history, but with so many kids using the puter I can't guarantee I'll ever see it again, so I'll post it now.)

I opened it up and tried to click on some of the "clickables" in the ad itself which all lead to:

It's even more usual for it to be faked from your own address.. it's called spoofing.. they're just trying to make the good guys look bad.

Never mind. Sent a ping e-mail and it came back marked "mail box disabled."

So in this case Cem was right - spam is just spam.

And yes I do now about the spoofing... had it happen to my IPS paid for box, 1700 messages over 2 days of bounces and "remove" requests.
