 		Do not Duplicate = splash significance
Any thoughts on the footage being government sensitive because of the splash of whatever is falling into the ocean at the end of the movie?

The whole world [in cloverfield world] would've, in theory, seen the monster and the parasites b/c of the news footage.

Not really, see that on pretty much any government document. The military especially is anal retentive about chain of custody for documents.

Amen brother! Or they go the complete opposite direction and you need a million copies. But something like this would be highly classified and would have one official copy and a couple backup copies locked away.

yessir


It just seems funny that this footage would have the high security just b/c of the monster and parasites itself. They would have had tons of eyewitnesses, news footage and carnage. They need the cause; hence the high security of the couple at coney island. the fact that they had first hand expirience is a perk.

 		How 'bout this footage being singled out because it also contains a full frontal shot of the monster, including a brief view of its tonsils?

And, honestly, besides the camera phones how many people you think would *still* be running around the island with a camera anyway? You make it sound like they have thousands of videos to choose from.

Right, but I'm sure they have more then one. The Director stated that there was another video.

Still, I see how they would want it because of the detailed view of the monster and parasites.

Ummm...Ima thinking that Hud taped newsfootage from another TV at the electronics store, right? Chances are that others around the world saw this footage that clearly shows the monster and it's little friends.
