For those still concerned with this, Trailmaster said that ICON only aims to derail us. We need to rise to the challenge.

I don't do much on this board except occasionally trying to interject and throw some logic into the mix. Here's what I've come up with:

This is a game. Icarus, this isn't some big battle where you have to prove yourself- because, in essence, nobody cares about you. I mean, you've solved a lot of puzzles, but the stuff you do totally discredits you. You've started a splinter into the group that's fragmented so deep, yet you laugh at it. We once called each other family- now, it's embarrassing to associate with these forums.

Leith would've been the only one who could've salvaged anything- even if everyone else steps up and takes charge, it won't be the same without Leith. It's hard to explain, really, but even if he doesn't solve any puzzles he was still here from day 1 and has more pull than anyone else could- he would've been the only player that mattered, if the game continued.

Alas, the game isn't going to continue. Or if it does, it will be stale and awkward. Significant progress just doesn't happen anymore, and the gods just toy with us because Icarus tries to personally make everything into a battle. I imagine us sitting around for a few more months, maybe, but nothing will happen. We'll just stop coming around, and eventually, the ARG will fade out.

Ic, I'm a guitarist, a computer technician, a high school graduate with honors, and I've been through all sorts of hell. If ICON called me a dick, I honestly wouldn't care, because...it's a game, man. I don't take personal offense at these things. This still isn't personal, really, it's just me directing words at screen aliases of people who I won't ever meet.


Leith, you rule.

Interesting post there. eyeinthepie is it? I thought IG people weren't supposed to post here. Or maybe you WERE IG and aren't anymore. Whatever.

Icarus does not need to remove himself. He has done more for this game than almost anybody. We have had our differences yes, but I acknowledge that he is a great asset. And in a strange way we have become friends.

We are tet, and we will have our problems, but something, whether it be god, fate or Ka has brought us into this. ANd that same thing will see us through.

This "game" is our Man in Black, and we are following.

Ok, no offense Neo, but if one player's actions (out of how many?) are forcing you to quit, what does that say about your faith in the group? And where does this absolute adoration of Leith come from? Yeah, hes a nice addition to the group, but your valuing him above the rest of the group again belies how much you really care about the group. One more thing...when you lurk, when you only watch, when you do not participate, and then out of no where you demonize Tim and call us and the forum an embarassment...well, lets just say any credibility you had built up with us just went out the window.

Sorry to see you go, and sorry you feel like you do, but if your principles dictate your absence, so be it.

I love how we have been "attacked" several times, but to our knowledge we work against no one else? Why would anyone "attack" us? Mind giving us "probably more than I'm allowed to in here" agan? Lol.

So V = dead = concrete. Given this is true, here is a concrete place to start building.

I'm sorry. To clarify, this group doesn't embarrass me- the way we go on with Icarus embarrasses me. We're like, hey man, chill, and he's like, no! It's just like...imagine if every important leader in the world gathered at a meeting and one of them was drunk. You'd be embarrassed to have lived in the country if you ever moved out of it, see what I'm saying?

My removal is my own. But to say that Ic is just ONE player who has virtually no swing in the group is ridiculous- he's singlehandedly destroying whatever effort we would put into it.

I didn't mean to offend anyone or put anyone above another- but if you're going to deny Leith is still the best leader-type person we have in the group, then you're blindly following Icarus the way you say I'm blindly following Leith. He was the beginning of it, he motivated us, he was always the logical and calm voice. We can't just say, oh well, he doesn't have as many posts as Icarus, so it doesn't matter.



Last post, I swear. I just wanted to clear up that I really do love all of you.

Uh, I don't follow anyone bro...except maybe myself. And I am pretty sure that goes for everyone else here; no one follows anyone except maybe we all follow TM to a point. We all play for different reasons. But you say this is your last post, so this response is for naught. Peace Neo-

It's very obvious you have only lurked recently because Icarus has more pull than anyone else. It's pretty well known he is TM's favorite, and has used that to his advantage many times. I'm not putting Leith down, but his time as leader has been up for a while. there really is no clear cut "leader" in this game. if Icarus was not important to us he would have been banned permanently a long time ago. I'm sure the architects could pull some strings here and get him banned here too if they really wanted it. I'm not "blindly following icarus" as you say, I'm following the game just as I'm sure everyone else is.

and to eyeinthepie if V really is dead, who the hell hugged Connie?

I don't know why anyone bothered to bring this back up. Just end it already. I don't think anyone cares that much, and Icarus isn't hurting anyone. Debate and arguement is usually a good thing; brings about different sides in a problem.

Arguments happen. Deal with it; don't wimp out and quit. That's the worse thing you can do.
