I say, that since it is sunday, and a brand new week, we should all start off on the right foot. Hippy already talked about brownies, but it's time for group hugs.
However, once the hug has been given, no more bitching, whining, crying, or pouting. We're here to play a game, not hate each other.

Wow...I honestly cannot believe how ignorant some humans can be...

Our group has endured many difficulties..We all know this. However, this time we have lost 2 very important people to this group; Leith, and Neo, and you guys don't even seem to give two shits.

Leith was there with us from the beginning. He has always been there to answer questions, or write up an AMAZING timeline for our FAQ section (just 2 things out of the other billion). Neo has solved many puzzles and has been great help in discussions.

Most importantly they were a part of this game, a part of this forum...And a part of our once was "virtual family".

Personally attacking Leith, and saying that he is a failure is horrible as it is, but seeing no one backing him up is even more disturbing to me. This was expected of Icarus, but out of all of the rest of you? I am very disappointed.

The game has not moved much at all...You know why? It is because the dynamics of this group has seemed to evaporate...It saddens me to the core..But I do think this game is going to be crap without Leith and without Neo. If you guys can't see that...Well then maybe I don't belong here either....

I dont think leith is leaving, if he is leaving he should know better than to leave over what Icarus says.

anyways, you're right. Leith has done a lot for us, but he is not the leader of the group as neo has said. this group has no real leader other than TM. now I might be wrong, but the stuff that's been going on the past few days has seemed like a lot progress in the game imo. like I said before, if Icarus was really messing us up he would have been banned a LONG time ago. the game is moving on fine. neo hasnt even posted regularly in quite some time, so to be honest he wont be missed by me. leith has contributed a lot and is needed as a member of the group but to repeat myself one more time he is not the leader and hasnt been the leader since october.

I never said Leith was a leader. I don't think he ever really wanted to be a "leader". A diplomat is different. Leith knows how to talk to the IG characters, and has prooven himself to be able to do a good job of keeping the peace more than once.

Now...Leith actually did leave. He left the forum and the group and the family. And not because of what Icarus had said...But because, like I said earlier, no one backed him up...Not even a little bit..Not even in regards to the personal attack made against him. If I were in his shoes I wouldn't want to stay either. Why stay a part of something where I don't feel loved and wanted and needed. Pointless.

This game isn't about getting to the end of the story...It is about creating the beginning, the middle and the end of the story all together, as a family. We create the story together, if there is no family like there used to be, all this game will be is just a page full of random puzzles.

Leith left?! No no no, this isn't happening.

Look, yeah we have no leader, we never elected them but Leith has been DAMN good at keeping up with what's been going on and has been super active and you tend to notice the active ones.
Leith is a vital part of this game, whether you believe so or not. I really cannot believe he packed up and left and if so I'm damn sure he deserves an apology.

Icarus, look. I get it. You're going to back up your actions to the end of time and I doubt you know what an apology is but I think it's unfair to do this to him and then shrug it off. I'm not trying to hate on anybody, just get our family back.

I think an apology is needed.

Thinking a novice cook shouldn't piss in the soup,I had only skimmed over this discussion. Any OGer leaving is really sad but if Leith leaves it could change the dynamic of the game and how we deal with each other as a group. Actually,Will is saying it best:"Leith is vital."

One small note,I can also understand that Gust Lvn shutting down SKG temporarily only served to upset some on that chat Friday. If I'd stayed awake til the wee hours for months on end entering countless passwords,I would have felt quite cheated by that action.

I remember Leith was one one of the most dedicated in the SKG password hunt,also.
Thank you,Leith,for everything you have done and,I truly hope,will continue to do for this group who do respect you,your efforts and your Zen vibe.

*sigh* I don't understand why someone would leave over getting their feelings hurt on the internet. Now if it wasn't fun anymore or the game sucked I coud understand that. But this was a dumb argument, like most on this board are.
