PHONE: Call from mysterious man

Hey folks,

Checked my voicemail at lunchtime today, and had one message. While I normally wouldn't bother telling you about my voicemail, this message was extremely, well, mysterious.

What I could hear sounded like the call was coming from inside of an airpport terminal or a bus station. I couldn't hear trains on tracks, per se, but I heard some sort of bell and someone saying something over an intercom, like you would hear at a mass transportation hub. An older male voice came on and said "You are trusted." He kinda sounded like a mix between Morpheus from The Matrix and a frog -- really raspy type, but deep-sounding. Then, the caller hung up and the message was over.

I'm not ruling out any coincidences, but I have a feeling that this might be the Red Knight calling me about The Journey's solve. Apparently, solving his cipher was the catalyst for his trusting us.

Thoughts?

James,

when you sent a message to caretakerSPLATbalckvault.com regarding
this new solve, what did you put in the email? I am trying to catch up
but as of yet, I have only got the first email from him. I sent an email
with the decypherd url in the body and asked him if he trusted me now.

Cool

Jamesi, yet again, way to go, that was beautifully done last night. Second, sweet deal with the phone call, I so wish I could have been there to hear it. If there is anyway you can get it on the net i'd be highly appreciative.

dude, actually, that was the RCMP calling. They found your "secret stash", and the voice on the phone was actually saying "you are BUSTED", not "you are TRUSTED".

If I were you, I'd get the hell outta Dodg....er....Winnipeg, ASAP.

Dude you are going to ned to pick a different character to hate for this game. Looks like you just became Caretaker's best drinking buddy.

Reggie should be more chatty tonight.

I, as well, never emailed the caretaker at the beginning, so this was my first email to him/her/it. As for the email I rifled off after the solve last night, it went a little something like this:

in an email to caretaker, jamesi wrote:

Hope we did you proud.

and I attched the screen capture of my hex viewer. No email response at all, just the telephone call.

And, for the record, my lovely wife deleted the call from the voicemail earlier this afternoon. As for the RCMP, say no to drugs! Twisted Evil
