Limpotrade.net

Has anybody checked out THIS site yet? It already had a very short mention in Various and Sundry, but should it be here.

The trail seems to be this thus far: http://www.limpotrade.net/ - a mysteriorous story basically telling us that someone is having a treasure hunt as advertising. Be sure to check this that was on various and sundry that natas wrote about: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=474146

... where Sammex83 announced the treasure hunt. That leeds to: http://www.alextreasurehunt.caylixconsulting.com/documents/home.html
and http://www.caylixquest.com/documents/23.html

And the image Silverback linked to, from the limpotrade site, says "the hunt for sammex83. Interesting. Lot of info to digest. Let's start analyzing.

EDIT: oh, don't forget http://www.caylixgroup.com/documents/23.html

EDIT 2: ...and this, apparently the author of the book: http://www.bennaude.com/documents/blog.php?title=solving-the-alex-treasure-hunt&entry_id=1202252872

I'm going to start posting links because this is too much. Overwhelming. If all this is IG someone had a lot of work doing it.

Sh#t, for the last half hour i think I've been "travelling" through tens of domains, pages... and I keep finding new ones. This Caylix corporation seems to be really big. I denote one emphasis on contact, I mean many sites have a contact form or email, this is begging for some interaction. Let's see if they respond.

EDIT: just to see if all this was IG I googled a name - DR. ROSA BREDEKAMP - a psychologist from a page that Caylix online had built, and that seems to be a real person (http://www.psychotherapy.co.za/GeckoLinks_show.asp?TYP=6&EntryID=490). So, I don't know anymore what is IG or OOG. Carry on.

EDIT 2: Ben Naude is the author of that armchair treasure hunt book. I've been in his site and there he says he made several of caylix's sites. Also, in one of this, there are word 2 docs: Project Investment Opportunity : Caylix Quest; and Property Investment Proposal : Leopards Lair. the first one has Ben Naude has communications director; the second one has in him there too and another name from Caylix, FC Conradie, not sure if he/she is relevant or not.

in one of them, it says his job is communications in Caylix.

The treasure hunt involves four character - Alex, Jessica, Janco and Harry - that are on a quest into the dreamless lands to find the greatest dream. Within that story and the illustrations of it, clues are hidden as to what the Greatest Dream is. Knowledge of the Greatest Dream leads to the discovery of the Treasure (a $500 000 prize).

In here: http://www.caylixgroup.com/documents/95.html Caylix lists its associates: Ultima. So I checked http://www.ultimafa.co.za and clicked on people, and the people there are real people, so one more time I'm confused what is IG and what isn't, because the Ultima site looks amateurish too, like the caylix ones.
Remeber the one who wrote on limpotrade.net is telling us that the treause hunt is covering something up, so we must me thinking about that too.

EDIT: so if Ben Naude is both the Caylix's sites admistrative contact and the limpotrade one, that means is the one who's telling us the treasure hunt is a sham (the person in limpotrade does say they are working from inside the company, I think).

EDIT 2: in the lulu.com page where the treasure hunt book is listed, the author's contact is bnaudeSPLATtelkomsa.net. Telkomsa seems to be a legit internet provider company from South Africa.

Sorry for the double post (BUMP!). Check this out on wikipedia, how quick is that?

Quote:
In the ARG (Alternate Reality Gaming), The Hunt for Sammex83, it is said that the Sammex83 is a tulpa that lives both in the Internet and the real worth.

It's on the topic "Thoughtform" which by the way was the one I found when I serched tulpa from the limpotrade page.

EDIT: there's a FC Conradie on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/people/FC_Conradie/558756355

I'm really starting to think this isn't a ARG or anything like that.

Why would it say it's an ARG if it's not?

From the meta tags in limpotrade's source code:
Quote:
name="keywords" content="sammex83, unknown page, arg"

The lulu.com page has 3 reviews, the earliest by... the author of the book? Bad form. Laughing

lulu.com is used to sell self-published books. so a review by the author would be expected (but yes, in poor form to write a "review", better to have posted a synopsis and why someone would want to read the book).

Ben Naude has a page in Helium, a community of writers. Here's his profile there: http://www.helium.com/user/show/31272

He has written 11 articles there:
- How to best make your life dreams come true
- Will higher education or work experience get you ahead faster in your career?
- Election 2008: Obama meets the Clinton machine in the primaries
- Living abundantly in the present, dismissing the past
- Flaws in the evolution theory
- Does everything happen for a reason?
- Having spiritual dreams
- God and temptation
- Is there heaven and hell, or just heaven for everyone?
