splash is right at the l in Baiklah in this pic. at least thats what im seeing, i gotta go back to the theaters

It's actually been posted on here (I don't relate well to trouts, I'll leave that to someone else).

The black dot and white dot, just left of the ship on the far right are not the splash in my opinion.

After I saw this snapshot I saw the movie 2 more times. I believe the white dot is a wave, perhaps from that ship, which moves along from the right of the screen to the left.

I also believe the black dot is visible in the movie during most of that clip and isn't it.

The actual splash as I recall is closer to the horizon. I don't see it in the photo.

Also here is a splash or atleast something falling from the sky according to matt reeves in an interveiw
(I dont remember it word for word so the following is paraphrased:)
Reeves:"In the last seen theres something that gives hints to the monster origin you have to look very close"
Interveiwer: its it the object falling into the water
Reeves:Yes
