 		[RANT][META] Stop the Godawful Cloverfield FanFics.
The whole military action hero thing has been done to death. J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves have created something that's unique and obviously works. Why would they change the formula to suit a bunch of namby pamby whiners because the handicam view makes their bellies hurt?

And for those of you who need explanations for everything that happens in a movie, please move on. I can almost assure you that you won't find anything resembling that in Cloverfield 2. Roland Emmerich surely has plenty of shitty projects in his directing future that you'll surely enjoy.

PS. And "Darwin" for the monster's name is just plan stupid.

Who ever said you MUST read ALL of the fanfics that people want to make because they ENJOY DOING IT?

Nobody.

If you don't like them, I have a simple answer to the problem. Don't Read Them. If J.J. and Co. make a sequel, they probably have their own ideas in their heads already, and all the fanfics people have fun making shouldnt change a thing.

Jeeze... are people not allowed to express their creativity?
