 		[SPEC] t.i.d.o. tie in for second movie ?
If we go quiet, it won’t be permanent.
What if they were to base the next movie around tido wave or at least market it that way. People would be wondering what the hell is this movie about if they were to market it as a film from activists. There could be a commercial with footage from an investigation into tagruato. It could maybe be voiced over with a member of tido stating what their about. Also,the footage itself wouldnt have to show much. Let it give us questions, but not answers. A flash of the tido logo at the end or beginning of the footage could let us know that tido wave is still active.

A trailer could play a Slusho! commercial that is cutting in flashes or clips of an investigation of the tagruato corparation. Then cutting to first person POV, a camera starts to film a member of tido speaking a message. They start to say something really interesting and BAM! it cuts off.
People would have no idea it had anything to do with Cloverfield until they actually saw the movie or heard about it from someone who knew about the background of the film Cloverfield. It could work but this is just one of my speculations. It would be perfect to do a tido wave tie in instead of a military POV type of thing. Keep it going along the lines of bring more questions to us, but also answer some of our questions along the way.


Another idea, what if the military drove Clover back into the ocean and left everyone dumbfounded as to what the hell just happened? Why would it have to continue to attack? It's just a baby and maybe it gets scared and goes back to where it knows it's safe.

The first movie was great, following a group of people when the attack happened via hud. I think it would lose some cred if they decided to just kill Clover off in the sequel by military means. I feel like the military aspect has nothing to do with the background of the movie or how it could even move the plot forward. It MIGHT be interesting to see a soldier go into the field and see this terrible thing and his reaction to it along with his fellow soldiers and try to fight it...hmmm...

If this is 'America's Godzilla', and we get a series of movies, then yes, it would be okay for it to take perspectives from multiple groups or organizations. First, civilians. Then it could be the military. Then tido and then this would be where things start to make sense FINALLY!

also...what if Clover wasn't the only creature beneath the ocean's depths that layed dormant for so long 'growing' and 'waiting'. If it's just a baby, what if there was something else that was down there longer? What would it look like? I'm just speculating!

and i can't help but be reminded of those ants or other bugs that get infected with a parasite by eating something and then their mind gets all crazy and something pops out of em. I mean maybe this ingrediant contains a parasite or something that makes you go crazy.
It could alter your brain and from that happening to you, gives way to other possibilies. What if after a long period of time or exposure, it not only affected your brain but also started genetically altering your body as a side effect somehow and you changed over time.

 		i think everyone should focus on the current Lost arg to keep everyone going...and stop questioning every detail of cloverfield...at least then the movie has had enough time at the cinema that we can really start to justify whether the arg will continue or not...plus the part 2 of the comic will be out

Can't any of you read (some of you are grammar pussies too sorry to say it, itz okie if i's talks like this, some of you take this movie WAY too seriously to flame me for my opinion). I stated that it could just be marketed as a trailer or teaser for a film. It doesn't have to be what the film is actually about. duuurrrr


If slusho! and tagruato and tido are just 'ONLINE' then why have a slusho t-shirt shown in the movie, an oil tanker, and a falling tagruato satellite. If everything means something, well, nevermind, I guess not.
