[FANFIC] Cloverfield: Camera Two's (Sequel) Plot Cloverfield 2 Plotline Hey- I'm not 100% sure if this goes in this sub-forum, but I saw another Sequel Speculation here, and I guessed that it got ate up in all the new threads and is now unfindable due to extreme lag.
Anyway, since Matt Reeves explored the possibility of another camera from a destruction site or handed in evidence, I think that another whole group can be now presented here.
Reeves said that while Hud was zooming in on the SoL and the Taggy Tanker, there was another guy with a camera that was zooming in on the same thing too. That got me thinking a lot while daydreaming during class...
CHECK THE LATEST PAGE BY ME FOR UPDATES ON THE PLOT.

Edit - moved to OT as it's not the actual plot, tagged FANFIC as so much more than spec - hope that tag's OK with you - MikeyJ

Working On It. Don't trout me- I only figured the post I reffered to was right above me.
I totally feel retarded now.
Well, I feel mine's is going to be uber-long, and will require a thread on itself, since the other guy's thread has nothing to do with mines.

Wow, in some twisted space-time paradox, I think you have trouted yourself.
My head hurts.
I like your begining, though.

I like it so far, and what I think would be awesome is if this group turns out to be the same on with a camera that see hud and film each other for a moment before the bridge going down. That would be BA.

Sounds cool, but I doubt we'll see something like this.

Why not? It was mentioned in an interview... and we all know that every scence in the movie had a purpose, so why put a scence of another videographer in the movie?
The viral marketing was a genious idea and helped the opening day profit, so imagine what a sequel/prequel would do!

I really like the kind of cross-references you can do between both movies, like the one you did where the flying fireballs get "explained"! good job!

If they do another one...I'd rather not see a camera from another Joe Shmo.
I want to see either:
-A military version, with the camera run by an 'embedded reporter' -or- an actual member of the Army.
-A TIDO/Tag version with someone following the creature around. At least we would get some background (ARG) info this way.

I like the idea for the military version. I'd love to see it cut in real-time. The best way I can explain is the part in Aliens, where Ripley and the second unit are inside the truck, watching the monitors and seeing the marines getting their asses kicked. It would be cool to hear the person in command giving orders and switching between different cams (helmet cams, choppercams, tank-visor-cams,...) Everything in real time.
Another good idea would be (or combined with the above) to present multiple case files within 1 movie. I'd love to see some medical files to, like a xray recording from the hospital of a person as they are expanding/exploding...
Soooo many possibilities!!!

Sorry- I'll do it right after dinner, so stick around.
I'm going to major in English (Possibly) and be a writer after I get a stable job and graduate. Writing stuff like this just makes me excercise my imagination.
As for a soldiers view, I'm really interested in that as well. I'm thinking that after MGP attacks, Tom gets separated, and while asking the military for his friends, the base is attacked by a swarm of Crawlers, and from there, he records all the military actions.
(I also edited some stuff- Tom was actually a cameraman for FOX news.
He was fired for zooming in on things that interested him only and not what the report was about.)

This is sweet but a little too intense to probably actually happen. I like the tail and the SoL head thing though.

Dudes- I know a guy with the last name Pendragon... except it was Spanish, so it had an accent, like Penn-Drae-Gown...
And comment on the story itself please...
NOTE: You DO know that "Robert Hawkins" in real life was school shooter??
