I don't remember that from Signs. There was only one alien even shown, really. Sorry, but what are you talking about, are we talking about a different movie here?

I think they are referencing the actual Alien movies, not Signs. Signs had one alien pretty much and it died from a diet of water and baseball bat

Yeah, okay. The original response I quoted was in relation to a comment I made earlier about Signs, not Aliens, hence the confusion.

Oh okay. I was talking about aliens. I thought I remembered earlier on one of them had trouble having water sprayed on it or something to that effect (Alien 3?). But later they were swimming around and crap.

In retrospect... that might have been acid in that hose... what AM I talking about?

If they dropped the house on him and he's still alive, I highly doubt that someone mounting MGP and droping any type of bomb in him will do much. Dont forget, MGP has TONS of parasites crawling all over him, and it would be quite difficult to climb him with said bastards crawling all over the place.

my bad

Hehe. I'd pay to see that. A small team of guys running along its back with machine guns and single shot rocket launchers (firing dozens of rockets of course) in a high octane fight scene just to blow a hole in it's back and chuck a grenade in...

probably wouldn't do anything of course, but I'd still watch it.

probably the most epic scene you could ever think of.

Hell Yeah. Throw some rock music on it too. Or something with a choir.

You're a real jerk.

Don't make it worse by quoting the jerkiness. Play Nice, even if others can't seem to. They can be *somebody else's* problem. - E Wink

Also, The Host was not a giant monster movie, it was a medium sized monster movie. It's different. Also, The Host came was a recent release (within a few years), they could still make another one if they really wanted (not that I'm advocating that)...

Amen to that. The Host was just bad. Poorly contrived, poorly executed, etc. It's like a college student made a monster movie.

I actually liked it for what it was. I mean, it was deathly obvious that it didn't have half the budget a natural born Hollywood flick would have, or a good a team as the team that did "Cloverfield," but for it's plot, I enjoyed.

Make no mistake. I loved The Host. I just thought it was good on it's own two feet and didn't warrant a sequel. Not that I wouldn't watch one if they made it, I'm simply not demanding it or anything.

There's nothing poorly executed or contrived about it. What are you talking about?
