I saw it last night. Won a comp on Virgin Radio. Arrived at Paramount HQ in Golden Square, free booze & sarnies, and the movie.
Digital projection & fab sound. Me and my mate were the only ones to stay till the end of the credits... which you need to do...
edit: hey, i'm a veteran. cool...

Okay.
Go and view the ARG beginners guide on UnFiction. That will answer all of your questions, and save you from embarassment.

No one is. We simply follow the directions of the game, so to speak. We didn't jump in head-first without doing a little looking around.

I can't agree more. I was still reeling from the disappointment that was Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle. I was hyped for that movie for about a year, and then so let down when I saw it. I was really afraid of falling into that again, but Cloverfield didn't disappoint. That's really hard to achieve. I wish I could see it for the first time again. Maybe I'll have a coconut fall on my head and I'll get amnesia. Nah, who am I kidding? Nothing good ever happens to me.

You know, it is technically off topic, but I almost want to let it sit proudly here a little longer. I'm here shouting with you Matthew.Davidlane. I'm hopefully off to see it this weekend, though I'll probably have to smuggle in my own, home-made sarnies (FTTM )

It really is that good. Even without sarnies. And the joy of not having to avoid spoilers...
See you on the dark side MikeyJ.
