Something aside from the pendant itself that interests me in this video is Brody's comment, "That's a mark for the future," because it ultimately came to life as a tattoo on Serena. Since we had the earlier clue about premontition/details/conclusion, might this have been a premonition?

Grapes of

Wraith. <- (Notice not "wrath" but "wraith")

V with bottle of wine

(Sounds like a voice saying 3...2...1)

V: Bonjour...mon amie. Je suis...hammered. (laughs) I guess what happens when you move to New York City, you lose your (static) (something in french). I'm so fouslevous(sp? guessing it means drunk or somethin'). (laughs). Ok, so after you left...um...Brody and Arkham thought it would be really fun to take me to this bar called the...uh..ba...the Back Door...the Back Bar...and bought me like a million shots. At first I thought it wouldn't affect me cuz I haven't been drunk since like '94, but apparently it did. Oh yeah, in case your wondering where this little friend of mine is from. (holds up bottle) Uh, we swung by the office after and we decided to get me some wine to knock me out after having all those sugary drinks. So...I...(laughs...turns to tears). Michelle, I already miss you.

Well, I think thats right: the first video diary filmed after Michelle left. Shes wearing the necklace too, although we don't get any hints about anything save it was still both Brody AND Ark with her at this point. I wonder when Jagt will enter the mix?

Wraith from wikipedia:

"The word "wraith" is first attested in 1513, with the meaning of "ghost or spectre" (that is, an apparition of a living or once-living being, possibly as a portent of death). In 18th century Scotland it was applied to aquatic spirits. Over time, it came to be used in a metaphoric sense to refer to wraith-like things, and to portents in general.

The word may be of Scots origin, possibly through Old Norse vörðr, meaning "guardian" (cf. the Modern English cognates "ward" and "warden"), and related to[citation needed] Irish arrach, meaning "apparition". An association with the verb "writhe" has also been claimed. Philologist and fantasy author J. R. R. Tolkien held this view [1], and his use of the word in the naming of the creatures known as the Ringwraiths has influenced creators of fantasy and horror novels, television shows, and games, who use it with its meaning of a shadow-thing, a spirit of another world, or more generally a mysterious being to be feared.

The wraith is a being of power, controlled by a greater spirit to do the creatures will. These creatures are shadows, floating amongst our realm with no purpose but that of their masters. They feed on humans, their emotions and their own strength, without these they would cease to exist. Information considering their lesser-known qualities is difficult to obtain."

All these allusions are starting to make sense. Bear with me here...

1) If the necklace is a firefly or bee it can mean rebirth
2) On Jagt's site "Life after death is never the same"
3) Was Malice killed? How did he come back 9 years later?
4) Was V killed? How did she meet Connie?
5) Jagt's e-mail: "I saw two people who are supposed to be dead"
6) "wraith" = a spirit or ghost...
7) All the talk of Brody's redemption
Cool Jagt has a second chance at the "truth" and the second film redeems the flaws of the first film

Anyone else sensing a common theme here? All we need to see now is a phoenix rising from the ashes!
