[SPEC]MGP FIGHTS OTHERS (Who knows? it could happen.)

ok, now when GOdzilla was made, after the movie, they made more of godzilla fighting othe monsters such as king kong and all those monsters they created (destoyah mothra king ghidora etc...). Now i know this is probably not gonna happen, and ima probably get rained on by insults and stuff, but do u think in the future there will be movies of MGP fighting Godzilla, and other monster created or like you know other existing monster? i think that would make it very awesome, but i also hav an idea that will ruin it. i also dont think that MGP would be able to kill any monsters because we dont see any powers it has, example is the atomic breath by godzilla, so how would MGP win. lets discuss, i wanna hear your thoughts.

Toho's Godzilla film franchises are locked up until 2013-2014. They plan to bring him back for his 60th anniversary. Besides, for proper milking of this monster's film franchise, he needs to destroy a few other cities first. That's the great thing about America, we have a large number of iconic cities to destroy in various ways in film. You can scream 9-11 all you want, we've done it many times before in the past, and we'll keep doing it because Americans love to see cities being destroyed when it's completely fictitious.

Of course, it would be a very strong proposition to have an iconic US vs JP monster brawl for godzilla's return to film. But since that's not going to happen for at least a few years, I'll keep all of my speculation to myself until then.

While we're being silly, I'd like to see MGP take on the Old Ones. MGP certainly has the look of one of HP's creations (though not as odd as the Yith. Nothing can be that weird. o_o ). XP

i wasnt being silly i was being serious, i think it would be cool, but i lso think MGP would get owned by the other monsters because he doesnt have powers that we know f, and we all no that a monsters powers is critical in a fight with another

Kayberry:

I'm pretty sure Toho never said anything about Godzilla's 60th anniversary. As far as I remember (I'm a huge Godzilla fan), they just said "5-10 years" until making another Godzilla. (After Final Wars)

However, they (not Toho, someone else, with Toho's permission, of course) are trying to do Godzilla 3-D To The Max (no, I didn't make that up, not sure if the title has changed, though), a 3-D (obviously) Imax movie in which Godzilla returns to the U.S. (he attacked New York in Destroy All Monsters!)

As fer Mr. Grumpy Pantz vs. Godzilla....I think it would be best to avoid any thing of the sort. Seeing two (or more) monsters going at it (fighting, not....you know..... Confused ) seems to make the movie less believable for some reason. (And I'll just add one more parenthetical section, because I don't think there were enough)

Umm....I couldn't even read half of those words...so I can't make a witty yet intelligent response.

im so sorry its cuz im wearing gloves cuz its freezing in my house lol, i was saying (replying to what that dude said) it would make it less realistic, because f they fought eachother it would seem as if they all were on the planet, but in the movies themselves its just that one monster in existence, its hard to explain but i think u can understand me

A'right, I get you. What you mean is that they are not part of the same continuity as each other. In most of the newer Godzilla movies, they just ignore everything that happened in the others (except the original) and go from there. So one solution could be just to say, "well Godzilla's been around since 1954," then have the Cloverfield monster show up as if it was it's first appearance. Many of Godzilla's co-stars were reused in such a manner, even given entirely new origins. I guess in a case like that it actually could be cool.
