Casting Couch: Dramatis Persona

Dramatis Persona (Animate and Inanimate):

People:

Jake Starkey � student at New River University, employed by Dr. Zeladzney of the Physics Department, the one who is missing, the one who left a coded message with the law firm of Landau, Luckman & Lake from the very beginning of the firm. He has either left coded messages or caused to be left coded messages for us in rather unusual places, the original messages and tests left with LL&L, the Bible page, articles on conspriacy sites. Where is Jake? Or is it a question of When?
**EDIT** Reggie has confirmed that Jake is the White Knight, and has been removed from the board.
**EDIT #2** Jake has returned from where ever he went for 10 months. IRC Chat Nic is SHIFT.
**Edit 3** Jake has been arrested on espionage/theft of equipment and documents. L3 has managed to get him out on bond but he is not allowed near the research with the RHIC. He and Meghan have been seen around town.
**edit 4** Took a second time hop but hopped sideways instead. Was being shot at by Craig Becker as he was in the process of hopping. Has discovered Becker was using the equipment.

Meghan Starkey � Jake's wife, also a student at New River University, took a leave of absence to care for her mother who developed Pneumonia. Meg's mother passed away sometime in early August and since that time she has been caring for her father. She has given us copies of the original case file and notes, and on September 9th, posted a mysterious message on CIA letterhead with a handwritten "#29." (provided by Caretaker per Oct. 6 chat)

Reggie/HexEditor/xover222/minesweeper/Turk/Ajeeb/Mephisto/Marcus Andover/John Baxter � writer of a blog. Is Reggie a student at NRU? Unknown. Does he know Jake? It appears so. Will he be able to help us? Only if the Lawyers and the Doctors don't get to him first.
*EDIT* Caretaker has moved Reggie to a new location.
**Edit #2** Caretaker claims Marcus has more AKA than Caretaker does.

Stephen Lake � a member of the Law Firm, Landau, Luckman & Lake. Was the direct contact person met by several of our detectives during the pre-game. *Edit* Reggie thinks Mr. Lake is a good man, and ran away when he had too. Per Oct 6 conversation with Caretaker Mr. Lake is on a beach somewhere and out of the loop.[Update} Mr. Lake has returned to defend Jake. Still no contact with his office.

Caretaker (prefered Nickname) AKA T. Jones and Red Knight, and in January answered an e-mail with the name Harker � at blackvault.com � first contact at start of game � asked "Can You Be Trusted?" We earned that trust by soving two riddles.

Dr. Kristoff I. Zeladzny � chairman of the NRU Physics Department, Jake's professor.

Dr. Rodsild- aka"God" - A doctor (or administrator) at the treatment facility where Reggie was first held. Reggie said he was a Bald Guy. Drives a silver mercedes with siloutte of a coyote on his front license plate. Meg took Jake to see him in timeline #2, she did not like him very much, and said he had a sly smile as he drove off in his car.

Kat - per conversation with Caretaker on Oct. 9, this is Katrina, Professor Z's niece.

Jim Telehan/JT - editor of Coyote Dispatch

BLACK KNIGHT - A power hungry person, looking to rise in rank. Reggie implied this person would be willing to harm anyone who gets in the way of his plans.

BLACK PIECES - Reggie is very afraid of all of them.

Grey pieces - currently bothering Reggie, two identified by YIM nicknames, forseti20002000 and handofeir (possibly Admin of CFRG consiracy site, and upsetr that Reggie has usurpted the site for passing messages, per a conversation with Caretaker, I'll get the reference later)

Craig Becker - NRU's Head of Security, Reggie calls him a boyscout. per conversation with Caretaker on Oct 9, Becker was the one who caused Jake to be arrested (possibly on orders from higher ups). Per Jake's blog, this boyscout shot at Jake several times when Jake hopped a second time. Jake has proof that Becker was illegallky using the equipment to travel in time.

Groups:

Landau, Luckman & Lake � LL&L, or L3 � Law Firm holding instructions placed with them by an annonymous person (suspected to be Jake) at some point in the past, at the beginnings of the law firm.

NRU Security � Held war games at University over the summer, may have stepped up security based on opening of new Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) on campus. Have removed student information from public view.

Brown People/Blue People - Unfiction and Collective Detective (i.e. Us the players) Reggie calls us the smart people

Inanimate places:

V.A. Fock Center for Theoretical Physics � the newest building on campus and houses the research labs for the RHIC. Per conversation with Caretaker the lower levels have been operational for at least a year.

Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) � a Synchrotron similar to one located at Brookhaven National Laboratory.

SPECTRUM - Soviet Project (Soviet Ministry of General Machine Building, Project Designation 2371) with the goal of transporting solid matter backwards in time and retrieving it intact.

Coyote Dispatch - local newspaper, updates every monday, currently on vacation. Caretaker will insert an article when he is ready to meet with us.

Zeladzney vs Turgenev

Using these attached images, we can confirm that Turgenev has resurfaced as Dr. Zeladzney at New River University.
