New TIDOWave Theory

 		New TIDOWave Theory
Never seen before...
So, today I get to thinking about Cloverfield again and how nothing tied together. I wanted to make some epic discovery that would change completely how we view the movie...But that didn't happen so I have this...

Re-reading the TIDO Wave site, something hit me. I had no idea what Broad Galvanic (A former enemy company of theirs) was. Got to seeing what Galvanic meant...I have a very simple understanding but, Galvanic Cells are half-cells that allow something like an electric charge. Anyways, first use of it, they touched it to a frogs leg and it contracted.

GloboChem Labs, Tidos other old enemy, is obviously something to do with chemicals. Then we have Tagruato, the oil drilling company. Anyway, I think that these 3 companies were working together to create MGP. We're not sure he was created, but after the manga, I have a slight inclination that he was.


So, some unknown creature is found by Tag (ORRR, A 4th company). The creature is most likely dead. So Broad Galvanic brings it back to life. GloboChem Labs toys with the creature. They give it the crazy out of this world characteristics by exposing it to their crazy chemicals. THEN, we have Tag. They were for storage and transportation. See, each company could have the tools to do each part and create a giant creature without blowing it's cover. Very strange, but it makes sense to me.

Now, to the TIDO Wave theory. TIDO has known about MGP all along. They use the environmentalist sham as a cover since they want the power of the monster for themselves. The reason that Teddy ( A suspected Tido member) sent Jamie the incriminating evidence (A Chemical from GloboChem) was if he was home by then, the package meant nothing and Tido had the monster and done whatever it is they wanted with it. But, if he wasn't home, something went wrong, All of TIDO and their evidence was gone. (Remember, the Farm was crawling with TAG, they surely got rid of any/all incriminating evidence.)AND, Second best to getting the creature, was not letting anyone have it.

Such a farfetched theory to oddly hit me at almost 1 in the morning...But I want your guys opinion on this. I've not heard anyone else mention ANYTHING about it. IF they have trout me (but I doubt you'll be able to do that Razz)

lol, you really shouldn't ask for an opinion from this forum- 1 out of every 10 responses will be reasonable to say the least.

Plus, if you believe that it was created, I would say that a mass of the members on here will disagree on that note, by simply referring to the Production Notes and what J.J. Abrams said about the monster's origins.

 		xboyonfirex - please drop the negativity. I agree with you to a certain extent but speaking negativity furthers negativity. You got great posts so lets just continue to work on the ARG.

Poppin... this is totally feesable. i think that my tanker theory could add to yours in that its used to transport baby MGP

hey, I'm not downing the theory, but look at the past few pages of [spec] threads, and there's your proof about what I'm talking about. Unless your theory has 98% fact backing it up, it's gonna be trashed.

 		The only thing I can claim IG to refute this is Teddy's tone when he described what was going on at Chuai. He seemed scared, surprised, nervous.. as if he'd discovered something huge and unnerving, not something he expected.

But then, he could have been 'putting on a show' if what your proposing is true.

 		OOG the point has been made by Reeves and Abrams that the monster is a wee lad. A baby. Not sure how this would all fit ingame however. I hope this Manga is going to tie some of all this in.

Good hypothesis btw. Smile

 		Feasable.

While they said the thing has been down there for thousands of years, they never said it was "Alive" nor did they say in its current form.

Can't say I agree with it, but a good theory none-the-less. Nice job, man!
