Sorry for double post, but wanted to toss out there that I got a call tonite from this place...

basically it was asking information about my illness. It was a computerized voice and I think it basically was someone in the background pushing buttons of general sayings. It says it'll be in touch later...

wanted to throw that out there in case anyone is following!

Yeah it was a conversation but the gist was of it saying constantly "tell me more" and then that was pretty much it.

There's a facebook group for this and Melted Innernet will post in it. He's somewhat active now...

The curtain was temporarily pulled back...

There is no game, no narrative, no overarching challenge. The site and the FB pages will remain, but there is nothing to "solve."

The author described it as "retiring". He said that he doesn't have time to really make it a good ARG and that he was really just using it as an outlet for all of his art. He also got concerned about some of the replies he got, as some people apparently couldn't separate fantasy from reality.

He's still updating it though. He recently changed the answering machine's message to something different, but some of the parts of the website that were originally there went missing.

I'm kind of sad that it's over, cause it really drew me in. But eh, at least it was pretty cool.
