I used the translator Here and just chose "From Hexadecimal"
As for the colours, I've partially given up until I can find a decent colour table. There are just too many colour names and shades for me at the minute.

Looks like you translated TO hex instead of FROM maybe? ff ascii = 6666 hex

Shocked You're right.
Well I feel like an idiot. Very Happy
Back to work on the colours then

I added decimal translation to my last post.

Another crazy idea. Used on an image with a color table lookup like a GIF, we could plug these in as color table values and maybe see something in the image. Not sure which image we'd use for such a task, or if this even fits the with the M.O. so far.

Those looked like hex codes to me.
Translated to RGB....

Anyone got any ideas what to do about these? Maybe converting them to the actual color names?

If I understand you correctly, you should be able to do something like that in a program like photoshop. If I didn't have a birthday party to go to tonight, I'd try it. Basically, I was thinking of making a box, and just filling it with whatever color was specified. Then, do another box next to it with the next color specified and so on. Not sure what to do with the non-color numbers though. Spaces, maybe?

Started that as a one row image a little while ago, then decided to try the LUT idea on 8.gif. Not seeing much on that, so I'll go back to the first one. All of the numbers are valid HEX RGB colors.

Can you explain that a little more easily? I have a sort of program I might be able to use for that if I knew what to do. Its not photoshop, but its sorta like that.

Make an image 58x1 (number of values in the file) and fill it with a grayscale gradient with value 0 at one side and 57 on the other. Convert this to an indexed color image, then plug the values into the color table in the order of the source code. That's just one way to do it.

If there's 58 values like you say, that'd be enough for a 6x9 or 9x6 grid.
Maybe the recurring colours spell something if put that way?

That's an easy way to just plug in the codes and see what colors they represent. However, it doesn't have a way to put them all together in an image with each shade in order. Maybe it's not important to know which colors are actually represented but to look at the numbers and possibly the three digit shorthand for the codes?

We had similar codes in Findings Cedar Rapids and this was VERY helpful

http://www.ez-calculators.com/rbg-color-calculator.htm

It also give you the 3 digit color representation and HSV values

I'm definitely having a ton of trouble with this one. It's not difficult to decode the colors, but to do so in a way that's going to make it all make sense has got me totally befudddled.
