Oh hey sorry, I think I may have misspoken before. I didn't mean to imply that only certain people should be allowed to talk, I actually meant to say that we should watch who's all talking at the same time, and maybe break it up a little as far as that goes, rather than start hitting him all at once as soon as he gets online.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Nothing to apologize for. Really. Everyone is entitled to their opinion last time I checked. I agree on your point about bombarding him though. And, since I'm not doing character interaction on this one, I'll leave my 2 cents at the door and let everyone else decide.

ADD: I figured out the IRC thing.. Apparently there is already a ophiuchus channel and I'm logged in as NataS

I know about the breaking it up thing. I did it as well, letting someone else talk to him first. I'm patient enough, and can wait a little longer.
And the chat I was talking about is an IRC log of back during Iris. I might post it later after I get this Wiki updated.

natas i have to agree with you.. I do see where bombarding r169 could be a problem but we seem to handle it accordingly.. looking back to what was said earlier, the passcode for being "cleared" could very well be participantthirteenisdead, but what do we do with it now??? From my understanding, the code changes everyday.. what breadcrumbs do we follow?

I have half the guide set up on the Wiki now. It's the half for Java chat so anyone wanting to just use that can get on for now. It's at http://projectophiuchus.wikidot.com/irc-help

Pity. The server has it to block proxies as well.
I guess you can only wait. But try this site as well to see if it works: http://www.mibbit.com/
