I think Hermes could've worded his response to Michelle much more nicely.

At this point, I'm fairly neutral about the concept. It only seems like labeling roles that we already do, so I don't necessarily see what difference it would make one way or another. It'd just be making things 'official.'

geez not the first one to get emotional about the arg surely, but I apologize if I was too much so or if Hermes somehow took offense. It wasn't exactly clear to me what was meant and I hadn't any idea Dom had suggested something similar in the past. I focused particularly on the assertion that separating people into groups and having certain representatives to speak. Used in the wrong way, I felt the groups could be used as a way to judge or exclude others. I'm feeling fairly judged at the moment so I don't think it a totally invalid concern. Again, I'm sorry if said person felt personally attacked. That response was certainly worded as if my concerns were misconstrued. i think maybe it was miscommunication. I only had the benefit of seeing bits of what he/she said and responded to said bits. I do however think that weighing in on ideas or suggestions is a perfectly valid exercise if it can be done without personal attacks.
