Cameos are not always credited. If he was embedded in the party or at the triage center, probably isn't in the credits. If he put himself in front of the camera, then he was probably hanging out with a few extras.

Its true Cameos are usually NEVER credited

Anuld Schwarzaneggar (umm? Spell CHECK (SC)) isnt credited for Walking Tall as an example

Arnold is in Walking Tall?...The one with The Rock?

Yeah..he walks by The Rock for a second and says somthing like "Have a good night"

I cant remember what he says....

Really?...Man im gonna have to watch that again

Its in one of the club scenes..I think the first one where he gets the stripdance from whatserface..

Its not in Walking Tall, its in The Rundown. I have that, just saw it the other day. They said it was his way of passing the torch to the Rock as the big action star

You know.. we joked that JJ cameo might be him riding the creature through NY.. But thats to Dennis of CloverfieldClues and this hi-res scan.. you can now see him doing just that!

http://www.dneg.com/projects/cloverfield_98.html

Right below his shoulder on the left side of the pic.. there he is, looking just a bit like Jesus...

Or maybe this IS just like Jesus showing up on stuff like toast and tortillas...

Yes, lets download and watch illegal copies of the movie. How fun.

That's like going up to J.J., saying "FUCK YOU." and then tearing into his body and drawing out a Cloverfield DVD.

Ok, not that bad. But still, theres not going to be enough motivation for a sequel if people just download the first one.

Do you work for the MPAA?

Your logic sounds exactly like their's, when in reality it is those who consume the product and generally pay money for said product that are downloading movies/music etc. Let's hope JJ doesn't start suing his best customers too, like the RIAA does.

I mean seriously, who here wouldn't buy the DVD the day it comes out? (Despite downloading the movie now or earlier).

I didnt even have to wait that long to get mine. Around the middle of Feb. my boy went to Puerto Rico and brought me back a dvd of it, and i gotta say, for a bootleg, its pretty damn good, especially the sound. I dont feel any remorse whatsoever in piracy. they rip us off something awful. What it costs to make a dvd or cd compared to what they charge us is ridiculous. The average cd costs around fifty cents to a dollar to produce and then they charge us sixteen bucks for it. I just look at it as pay back for all the years of me getting ripped of by the industry. And as they say, payback is a beyotch. But back to the point, im still going to buy the real dvd when it comes out next month. mine doesnt have all the extras and alternate endings, which is the thing by far im most looking forward to. So i agree, even if u download it early or something youll still most likely go out and buy the real thing. Cause its not the same thing otherwise
