[48][OT] 48 Hours In Purgatory Soundtrack

Hey guys! Newbie over here, well I have been following the progress of 48 Hours. Unfortunately right now school is not letting me spend too much time searching for clues, although I may be joining sometime in the future. Anyway, I have grown a liking to the music of the videos from the game and I wonder if you guys want, and if its allowed, we can make some sort of a soundtrack of the game. Until now I have the music of the "Bones" video (without the "smash" sound) and have also I "recovered" the music of 48-hours.net . I don't know if you guys have discussed this but the track is named .:softENERGY:. by Rudy Vessup, according to his IMDB profile, assuming its his, he was an electrician in some movies like: April Moon & Neowolf and he was a producer in "Reunion" (2006).

So what do you guys think?

Anyone else wondering where this info came from? Sounds a little IG to me, especially after we were just told to pull the 30stm and UG pics...

Sorry that was me, I wanted to post ASAP but there were some problems accessing my account so I decided to post as guest.

Anyway, I got the info of the music from 48-hours.net after looking in my Temporary Internet Files, to see if there was a way to extract the music from the swf file. To my surprise there was an mp3 file called "ambience" which was the actual music of the site (also from both of the intro videos). After doing some reserach I discovered that the music is from Flash Kits, a site that provides resources for Flash sites (seems that the 48 HIP crew are using some freeware music for their stuff). If you want, you can listen to the track .::softENERGY::. free here: http://www.flashkit.com/search.php?term=Rudy%20Vessup&per=10&page=1&field=Contact_Name&cat=loops

Although I haven't found where they got the music for the videos like Bones, Whore, Would You (the trailer), The Bones Interview and any other videos.

Sorry for the confusion guys Smile

I agree Mirror - very clever and we could really use some clever help with this game (not that the rest of you aren't clever - but I know I could use some help!)

Well I have finished compiling a small soundtrack of 48 H I P (barely 3 minutes) with the videos I have found. Here's the track list:

1. .:softENERGY:. (48 Hours In Purgatory Theme) - 0:40
2. Bones - 0:38
3. Whore - 0:20
4. Get Though - 0:18
5. Purgatorium - 1:15
6. Would You - 0:10
7. Alas - 0:15

I'm right now uploading it to Mediafire.
