Would "magna" be any less weird? I know I would think it had some kind of relation to magnetism or something.

Well I would say it's pretty much over now. Cloverfield dropped out of the top 10 in gross receipts this weekend, in at #12 with $2.5million (apprx $76million to date domestic).

There have been zero updates of any IG sites since Jan 17, no further ads on TV either. I would expect Cloverfield to be out of most major theater chains after Presidents Day next weekend (maybe one more 3-day weekend will give it the bump to $80mil).

Heck, I haven't seen an update from Dennis over at Cloverfieldclues since Feb 2. Where are you Dennis?

Hopefully there will be some updates/ARE stuff leading up to the DVD release (any guesses--I say May) and if and when a sequel is announced, I'm sure we'll see this ARE come to life but until then, its just us left to reminisce about the good times we had before Jan 18.

I'definitely with you on a possible ARG/ARE leading up to the DVD release. Hopefully they could at least pull off something like that to satisfy the fans.

I sent an e-mail to Dennis in response to some graphic design stuff i'm doing. He seemed quite busy.
