 		[SPEC] Just a passing thought....
This odd thought just popped into my head.....

What if we have such little info on Jamie (actress name, mainly) because she's an integral part of either the cast or the plot of the supposed Cloverfield sequel?

Perhaps they intentionally kept us in the dark on a lot of aspects of Jamie because they'll reveal more on her once any advertising gets going for the 2nd Cloverfield?

What are your thoughts?

I thought of two things when I saw the movie when they showed her. It was either (a) a clue that she will be important in the future because they made sure to show her, or (b) it was a nod to the viral market campaign.. so I dunno..

 		Just a nod i suspect.

Heard people in my theatre go "Look! It's Jamie!', and I think that was it's sole purpose. Plus we can all assume she's all tuckered out from downing all that SBN.

Well, assuming her drunk ass escaped the city it's possible that her consumption of SBN could play a role in a sequel... Although I suspect she would be one of many by that point. Although I'm failing to see where they could take that. I think it was already discussed in a nother thread that the parasite venom is actually SBN causing people to grow big like whales (and explode), but the question would be what a smaller controlled dosage would do because honestly, she didn't look any bigger to me. On the other hand, she didn't have that much of it, so maybe it's continued small dosages...

the girl was hired to be a part of the viral marketing campaign. Abrams obviously put her in for all the Clovey fans.

of course she could be involved with a sequel but she's not going to turn into the monster or something. we're talking about Hollywood and JJ Abrams here, not those shitty original sci-fi channel movies.
