I'm assuming the green triangles are/were missle silos.

All of the bases on the map with the exception of Thunder Mountain have had some connection to the ICBM system.
All of the green triangles that reference a base, that base had Titan, Atlas or Minuteman missle silos.
The triangles don't move.

The only problem is some of the bases listed on the map were decommissioned years ago and their silos were dismantled. A few of the air bases have been converted into private airports.

I guess the squares with dots are aircraft, but I have no guesses for the other symbols.

Well... that would be all if I wasn't using Firefox.

So they created their own error page to mimick the IE error page, and used it as their index page.

Take a look at the bottom. They added a line to the error message:

Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer v1.0 Post Impact filter

So the Internet's being filtered in the new America?[/b]

"PI" is added in the text twice.

"Microsoft Windows PI"
and "Internet Explorer PI"

Can we get Microsoft Windows Post Impact to replace Vista?

Ignore the .doc file.

One thing I found is the metadata.

The author of the word doc was Marcin Leskiewicz.
Marcin was a name found on the Sakanas Herald directory.

On the Redeye map tonight, I saw an FA-18. The symbol was a green triangle.

There is one here: http://k4x3693d66.net/redeye/redeye.swf but it is not functional

Also, has someone determined what the orange blinking shape is?

I have this screen cap, but the other shapes are blocking it.

This all takes place on June 18, 2007 is that a detonation perhaps?

The orange blinking shape is a base near Denver. I can't remember the name of it. It is likely blinking because Denver was one of the cities that was bombed.

Status

F/a-18s are up and flying now. They are in South Dakota heading SW in line with Sioux Falls.

So I am assuming the read dots around Denver indicate destroyed/radioactive towns. Am I correct in this?

If you toggle the view you can zoom in and see it more clearly. They are cities around Denver, probably their burbs. My guess is that they are destroyed or radioactive, but I don't know.

Yes, I can confirm it's loading from redeye; using "Live HTTP Headers" on Firefox, one can see the requests:

GET /redeye.swf HTTP/1.1
Host: redeye.kppldlz9oo.info

The requests from k4x3693d66.net are as follows>
POST /satellite_var_ret.php HTTP/1.1
Host: k4x3693d66.net

POST /get_stream.php HTTP/1.1
Host: k4x3693d66.net

POST /server_time.php HTTP/1.1
Host: k4x3693d66.net

POST method is used to give data to a server script and request a page or information that the server determines from this data.

The strange domain names may have no meaning at all, they can be just garbage to avoid someone figuring out a link to the ARG when the pages were being developed.

The fake error page was a nice touch, indeed... and it's good to remember that Microsoft is based on the state of Washington, part of the new ASA alongside with California, the home of many IT powerhouses. There are some IT development on the east coast or in Texas, but CA an WA have the most.

Choppers

Redeye now has a flight of UH-60 transport helicopters moving N/NW

This flight of choopers appears to have coincided with the latest text message which states that "helicopters were flying towards the Sun.

The sender of the text messages appears to be in The Black Hills area of S. Dakota and Wyoming.

The Green Triangles are extensions of the base itself. Not Neccessairly ICBM silos. More along the lines of "MISSLE FIELDS". Groups of 30-50 silos each.

Lowry AFB (by Denver) is part of the US Air Force Academy.
The Only Bases seen that carry ICBM's Are as follows,
Francis R. Warren AFB in Cheyenne (180 Minuteman III's)
Minot AFB N. Dakota (2-300 Minuteman III's)
Grand Forks AFB (2-300 Minuteman & Peacekeeper ICBM's)

There are only 4 Air FOrce bases in the entire country that contain ICBM's. The three mentioned above and another in Washington State.

The Units

The Boxes with the X in the middle are basic Infantry units. Ground troops. They may belong to the 1st Cavalry Division out of Ft. Hood Texas along with the 3rd ACR which are also out of Ft. Hood.
