 		[Confirmation] of Who RK is!!!!!
It has been Confirmed in the letter that RK is a Former CIA agent and is DOC Z.

Tenure is something only Professors have.

Having worked in the U.S. Intelligence community for many years, I've seen some pretty strange things. I retired a few years ago with 27 years of service to my country. Compared to my tenure, the old guard had it pretty good.

 		I agree with cem - in the context he used it, RK was not discussing university type tenure, but merely his tenure (i.e. the years he operated there) in the intelligence community.

I agree with Cem/Alien as well...we know now that RK/Caretaker was likely either a CIA agent or NSA...because FBI is domestic (am I correct?).

Yes, the FBI is domestic but sometimes they cross paths outside the borders with the CIA, when an investigation leads there, sparking territorial disputes... at least that is the way it is portrayed in the media...

Webster's New World Dictionary, second college edition, 1982 defines TENURE as:

1. The act or right of holding property, an office, a position, etc.
2. the length of time, or the conditions under which, something is held
3. the status of holding ones position on a permanent basis, granted to teachers, civil service personnel, etc., on the fulfillment of certain requirements.

So, no, Red Knight/ Caretaker is not Dr. Z, or any of the other professors, in fact he specifically mentioned he had NEVER been on the NRU campus.


UH... Reid? You need to start checking these broad generalizations better before stating it as fact. A better phrasing would have beem "Are Professors the only ones who hold Tenure?"

Reid, sweetie, you got to watch the broad generalizations, it makes them very good targets. Try asking if it seems like a possibility, and seeing what people have to say, Just like last night in #acheron, some of your thoughts do have merit, you just need to work a bit at building up the background info on it.

Perhaps he did not know but there seems to be no need to get upset at him for the mistake, I have seen posts by you that were way off and no one attacked you over them. Let spec be spec and words be words, move on, be happy!

 		I agree with Bo on this. Maybe, in the future, if anyone has a need to 'correct' someone you could do it thru a pm or email instead of on this public forum. A private tutorial is preferable to a public one.

While I personally hate to be corrected Mad it's good to know the truth. The threads here seem to clarify the issue of the word's definition without attacking the poster's idea, although the language of some of the posts could easily be construed as attack-like. From the corrections, the readers of this thread can make their own decisions.

If we stop correcting or trouting each other, the threads become rife with confusing inaccuracies, imho. Perhaps I'm wrong about this, so you can, er, correct me at will Wink

THAT BEING SAID, I think we get it about the 'tenure' thing and can carry on with the original SPEC: Figuring out RK's identity

I absolutely agree jamesi, but I also think that there are gentler ways of going about it (esp. with newer members). I thought the definition of tenure would render the argument moot.

Ramiles, there is some good SPEC about RK's identity going on, come
add your opinion. Smile

Identities are being SPEC'd on here

The information contained in RK/Caretaker's email has led to some possible conclusions and is being discussed here.
