I haven't heard anything yet--I'm champing at the bit like you and everyone else are. I'm guessing that there's some fly in the ointment that Hazel and Jonathan are trying to get worked out, which must be even more frustrating for them than it is for us.

*thinking* Hmm...two metaphors in two sentences. Not bad. I wonder if I can get another metaphor in here somewhere...

I guess we all just have to hold our horses on this.

*thinking* Heh heh--I even got in another horse metaphor.

Anyone else feel like responding and throwing some metaphors around? Watch your aim--no hitting anyone, now.

Well, it seems we have been answered!

Dear Jennifer,

We at The Sky Remains Agency have been all set to open our doors to you for a wee while now. However, right at the last minute the legal firm of Sledgehammer and Nut, representing the Health Or Relative Safety Emergency Stop Happiness Interminably Team, decided they needed to check every last inch of the office for any possible consequence, whether imaginary or impossible, of Inter-Dimensional Leakage.

Meanwhile our intrepid Rookie Agents, Pat and Dave have begun investigating a possible new case. They have put their initial video recordings for The Sky Remains on the Your Tubes inter web channel. Search and you shall find.

They have also discovered a fragment from the 6th Dimension, possibly connected to the new case, which you can find here: http://tinyurl.com/4knwvz

Please amuse yourselves with these tid-bits and we will be back in touch as soon as ever is possible.

Yours with fond anticipation,

The Sky Remains Administration Team.

Director, Poliakov (Ms)

Managed to pass my driving test ( age 33, I know, embarrassing Smile ) since Geist, so if there's a live event I'll definitely try to get there, the last one looked hilarious.... GRASS!!!!

Glad to see they have also introduced Dave's awkward obsession with the female cast. Laughing

Videos were hilarious, I was kinda iffy about this game before, but now i'm really excited!!!

By saying that time isn't linear in the sixth dimension, and that sixth-dimensioners can pop inand out of our dimension, do you think it means
that we can be chasing a guy that commited a crime now, and then pop's up in like the 1930's or something.... ?

Tricky, tricky, tricky! I'm getting a kick out of thinking that the Agency took me up on my offer and included that bit just for the fun of it. You should see the insane grin I'm wearing at the moment. Even if it wasn't a direct response, I love it for giving me a moment of glee. Boy, do I envy all of you over there in the U.K.

We ended up with a lot of cows or something in Meigeist, didn't we? Oh, and cats of course. I wonder if any other domesticated animals are going to play key roles in our new assignment...

I love the name of the law firm. I lived in Boston for a number of years (not from there, though) and one of the funniest puns I saw there was on an upper-story window in Harvard Square. Official-looking gold lettering with black outlines advertised the (one assumes) law firm of "Dewey, Cheetham, and Howe."

EDIT: Oh, and congratulations, nitefoll on passing the test! Don't feel too embarrassed--I worked with someone in Boston who was at least in her early fifties, and she'd never taken the driving test, either, because she'd always been able to get wherever she wanted using public transportation. If that's your reason as well, you should pat yourself on the back for contributing to a cleaner environment. Smile

Hey thanks, been a long time coming, but was really nervous as people on the roads are just plain crazy these days.

It actually was, moved to the city 10 years ago and the public transport was really good, so didn't need a car. It's just handy now being able to rent one when required.

Looks Like we're off...

Quote:

Dear prospective agent,

Those Non-Euclidian Geometric patterned carpets were too tricky too match so we took them up and varnished the boards instead. Much easier to navigate when balancing a biscuit on a cup of tea. So, we are now ready to open the office to new recruits.

PLEASE SIGN UP if you think you have what it takes to become a Sky Remains Sixth Dimension Detective.

www.theskyremains.com

We welcome anyone who is:

Human.
Any kind of sentient being.
Nevertheless considered odd by most Śnormal‚ people.
Looking for an adventure in another dimension.
Willing to save the world rather than wax their car.

Please DO NOT sign up to the training programme if:

You are a one-dimensional being
You are completely happy with yourself and everything in the world around you.
You have no imagination.
You would rather wax your car.

We are waiting.

Yours sincerely,

The Sky Remains administration.
Ms Poliakov, Director.
