Weirdly, I tried that but it didn't seem to work. It worked on the third attempt, though. Warning: It won't work if you have any spaces.

I see the first puzzles are reasonably easy (well, in afterthought anyway). The website URL they made clear as day, and now I'm on part 3.

ok, stuck...

found this pic (task 4), and we need to extract a word from it, but i found that if you flip the right side vertically, the symbols align up with the letters on the left better, but im not sure where to go from here, those are greek symbols right?

artifact1.png is the original, artifact2.png is with the right-side flipped, i can't seem to get the pics to post in the right order

Damn it... Guess I'm expecting them to be complex.

And it's official: we now have our Alice and Through the Looking Glass reference. Wink

On to the artifact...

It's the default "404" error page; type in pretty much anything and you get the diary page.

Symbols are the signs of the Zodiac.

Aries and Cancer are missing, although I don't know if that means anything in particular.

Edit: as is Aquarius

Edit 2: I have to go to the gym. However, I have been playing around with this. With a bit of flipping and resizing, you can get the letters and symbols to match up exactly--the four squares are over black space when you do this.

Mess around with this while I'm gone, and someone post an answer, please!

Darn the timing!

Hint [edit]: A = Sagitarius

That reminds me of all of us talking about our signs in the beginning pages of this thread - there were quite a lot of aries!

Hey guys. In the process of reading the preceding pages here. Just joined up. I'm really liking this one. Ms. Polyokov (sp?) is awesome.
