Haha! It appears I've finally caught up. That fourth task was daunting (especially since I have some sort of

I'm really liking this game, so far Very Happy

EDIT: Okay, upon close inspection of the letter, NOW I'm caught up. Lost on the whole indentation thing, though.

ANOTHER, MORE IMPORTANT EDIT:
Does anyone notice the similarity between the Artifact ICE code and the words we found?

Make sure that's all lowercase, too.

EDIT: This new page seems to be either cipher or a list of coordinates.... It looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on what it is.

EDIT: Nope, definitely not coordinates.

Gah, you beat me to it.

I have an odd feeling that this is the key to all of this, but I just can't fathom how right away.

It's a HUGE GIF (1045x969) and loading slow as hell.

I'm leaning towards this being a locational puzzle... She did emphasize SHOES in the beginning of this particular mission.

*EDIT*
I'm betting the reason why the "indexscrap" pic is saved as GIF is so that it's saved lossless and doesn't have any JPEG fragments. We're meant to see the detail in it, which might be otherwise lost in JPEG (and a lossless JPEG would be a helluva lot bigger).

Yeah, I think you're right, Nighthawk.

I did notice something that could be completely trivial, (say, it's probably just a Microsoft Word background or something) but I noticed this:

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g90/xavier_valtiel/interesting.jpg

EDIT: The letter's background perfectly matches the picture.

Looking at the answer page it seems that it wants a one digit number and a four letter word describing one object (it didn't say objects).... I could be wrong there, though.

I'm actually wondering if these numbers are plotting coordinates for a picture. Part of what makes me think that is that we've got the tree image on the right with some of that family tree stuff that we've seen before.

Now, I'm just trying to figure out how to plot something that goes clear up into the 600s without driving myself batty.

It also makes me wonder about pixels on a screen, since that's how you used to have to make pictures on computer screens. You'd specify "put a red pixel at (34, 66), and then a blue one at...
