Hmmm. I think I just encountered a glitch in the TSR website. I am looking at the puzzle for task 8 I believe but I never solved task 7. I also never saw in-game the Artifact image.

So are we now trying to find "what blocks the way?" or am I still behind?

Nope, you are still behind. Try looking at the wiki--I think that natas has kept it up to date thus far. Although I don't think the solution to puzzle 8 is on there yet--see this post here. But we've now solved up to getting into the silver filing cabinet.

And can I just say--you guys are WAY to fast. I have just spent time with the family having dinner, and I come back and the puzzles are entirely solved. Although I'm going to go through the solving myself, too, just to keep in practice, but Ai, yi, yi...

In other words--WONDERFUL JOB.

If you go to the sky remains website without logging in and then click on META, you'll go to the initial website. There is a FAQ link on there which tells you about mscape and what you need to use it. It is NOT a necessary part of the game, in that the collaborative part of this is supposed to mean that we can rely on those with the right equipment to help us with those parts of the game

Here's a shortcut to the FAQ page: http://www.theskyremains.com/FAQ.html

Notice that this is a different FAQ than the one on the Sky Remains boards.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to give the url for the wiki: http://theskyremains.wikidot.com/

EDIT 2:

I agree entirely. It is GREAT to have you on board. And the others who've just posted, too, since we can use all the mad skills we can get!

I hadn't seen this yet, either. How did you get to it?

I clicked on the white card on the homepage at the TSR site that says "Case One: Wendy Skinery". From there, it says :

Quote:
Harry Skinery is dead but he has left a legacy, which we feel sure will give us vital information about Wendys connection with Sam Skinery and about the sixth dimension itself. You must find Harrys hidden legacy if you are ever to solve this case.

Use all the evidence found in the Shards and Keys hidden around the world and in the 6th dimension to piece together a way to let Sam Skinery contact Wendy.

And right below that, it has a clickable " Shards and Keys"
which leads you to the page above.

The latest Pat and Dave video

Has everyone seen the latest Pat and Dave video? Having Pat explain what contractions are to Dave is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

There's actually 2 new pat/dave vids... trying to upload them.... just look for the clickable "Upload pat and dave video" thingies on the TSR site.

Darn it, the *really* neat stuff happens while I'm gone...

*EDIT*
As I understand it, the mScape ones are location impartial, and will work pretty much for anyone who goes outside with a GPS, no? Anyone out there got the hardware to give it a go?

Make sure to press play on every movie that comes up...I learned that I missed out on a couple of the first ones because I thought it was a movie I had already seen, but in reality they were usually new ones that pushed the plot along.
