Re: Pics of Sam

I did a search and scanned through the threads, but found no mention of these pics, and am guessing as per Pat and Dave's last video, that the shadowy images in these pics are Sam Skinery???

I think that's what we've been assuming. I think the reason no one mentioned it is that Wendy talks about it on her Web page, that the figure keeps appearing.

I actually snagged those to put in the wiki, but I won't be hurt if you want to include them.

I am guessing it is Sam. Also from the first few videos from Pat and Dave, they talk about this guy/Sam being in all the photos throughout Wendy's life. They say that he is in the 6th dimension (which is just time and why he appears not to get older) and pops into ours and getting in photos etc...

I see someone else also created a google map. Did you also enter the coordinates mentioned HERE

They were mentioned briefly in this thread already, but nothing ever came of it. I'm not going to Antarctica. Anyone else?

If we could find someone to go there, I'd *really* be impressed...

Actually, I would dearly love to go to Antarctica, but I don't know how I would go about it--it's not like you can book a cruise to there.

But then, I grew up in the middle of Alaska (where I actually lived through about a week of -70F temperatures--and that's REAL -70F, not just wind chill), so the idea of the cold isn't that frightening to me. Where I would NEVER be able to go would be anywhere in Africa or someplace like that--I wilt in high temperatures.

I was in Alabama and Florida on one trip, and I thought I was going to die. I remember that I got off of the plane in Alabama--when they still attached ladders and you got out on the tarmac--and the minute I went up to the airplane door, I felt like all of the air had been suctioned out of my lungs.

The ICE puzzle

Hey, I never did manage to figure out how you all got the grid to go onto the artifact. I finally saw that scan page button, but once I got to that page, I couldn't figure out what to do. Anyone care to explain?

You don't actually "do" anything on that page... Photoshop, some strategic screen captures and we put it together. I'm sure someone around here has the images.

Thank you. I just thought I was going batty. I managed to print a PDF file of the image, and I think the screen capture of the grid I got was okay. I'm just trying to put together image solutions for each of the puzzles for the wiki, and on that one I just relied on the image you provided. But I wanted to be able to explain how to solve it with the images. Now I can just grab yours and explain.

You are a gentleman and a scholar. I won't add the rest of the quote, as my brother always does.

THANK YOU.

Shard 9

How did a cassette tape from Sam Skinery get in the same box as the letter from Harry Skinery? I don't get it. Anyone?

Harry probably recorded it. it was a box full of his clues/shards, so i guess he came across Sam in some way or another.

I hate to think we need all 16 shards in order to continue... Some shards are in places we have no presence, like Italy.

I have a feeling that carmenmiranda might be able to be pressed into service to get that one...

What think you, fruit-hat lady?

That depends entirely on whether or not RyanAir has one of its "£1 Air Fare" sales, including Milan, any time soon.

How much is a flight normally without the sale? out of curiosity. I would help pitch in on the airfare if we could find a way to set it up.
