I'm confused here... are we sure these are related?

I'm quite confident considering that two MISSING recruits in P.O. are named Martin and Rebbecca. Also, there are relations of the importance of the number 13 in both...

Ah, the two missing recruits. That makes sense. Still, there are 3 recruits who haven't responded. So who is the other?

That may be an enigma that would have to be solved later, since we don't have any leads on who they may be.

Damn these connected ARGS! They are fun as hell but now I have to read all about Project O too!

Before I forget, someone who is friendly with Jason try asking if this is the symbol http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r50/cidhighwind767/header.jpg that he saw on the door. May as well try to confirm it after all.

I know, but it doesn't really matter about colour. Just checking to see if it's the same type of 13. We also have a sort of dark blue-ish one, but you can hardly see that without photoshopping it.

Oh my God. That's it! Where did you find it? I'm still following the USB lead. I'll update the blog later. Superb work Leyton!

J.

Props to Highwind for the idea!

Now... What shall I reply in pertaining to where I 'found' it? - Remember I'm new to the OP Side of things, I don't know what CAN be said and what CAN'T be said.

Ideas?

Leyton linked me to the '13' you guys found. It's definitely the one I saw apart from the colour. I've got some info on the USB keys..later.

But the site hasn't updated yet.

Christ, I don't have time to step in to a whole new ARG that's so far along!

I have to go destroy San Francisco elsewhere... Gonna probably bow out of this one.

Night... It's not that far along to be fair. I've only just noticed the connection, read the O.P Wiki and I'm upto speed already.

(Cross-posted from other thread, 'cause I don't know where to put this for maximum impact)

Hello everyone, I'm the resident skeptic!

Question, and it's a toughie...

Jason has pointed us to Project Ophiuchus without any hesitation or doubt, but is there *anything* that points back to him, Martin and Rebecca with that same level of clarity?

Hypothetical: What if Jason decided to choose those names based on Ophiuchus? What if Jason is a gamejack?

Until there is definitive, unmistakable proof that there is a link FROM a known IN GAME site TO Jason, Martin and Rebecca, I'm not buying it.

Jason can make all the links he want, just as I can throw up a site and link to Project Ophiuchus.

I need a helluva lot more convincing than that.

I don't know if you've been answered in the other thread yet, but there are some clues in the source code at PO that link back to this game.

ETA- guess it wasn't answered for you over there. It's a few posts up on the thread you just posted in, though. Basically, if they're not connected somehow, it's an awfully big coincidence, imo. Afaik, the names were just barely released on PO early today but locatemyfriends has been going on since the 13th (heeeey... wait a minute. *laugh* Another connection?).

I saw that, but...

1) They don't make a *direct* link. They never directly used the names "Martin" and "Rebecca", did they?

2) Which came first? How long have those comments been in the source code?
