(Double post... I know...)

Haven't read through this entire thread recently so I don't know if it's been mentioned, but did anyone notice that this month's issue of Scientific American has a six page write-up specifically on the Large Hadron Collider? I noticed this morning on a local newsstand.

There was also a five page write-up about, posted online in January:

Alright, I think we should stopping yelling at the poor PM(s) for picking Texas. Even if he/she/they did check for anyone on Unfiction living in Texas, there was no predicting who exactly would be interested in their game. So, please don't blame the people/person behind this. It wasn't their fault that barely anybody who decided to play the game lived in Texas...

If nobody can make the drop, the PMs will find another way. It's not the end by any means.

***hint!*** Miami... ***hint!***

Dude... Wow sorry.

I'm going to stick "lol" @ the end of every post now so ppl know I'm kidding around.

It was sarcastic humour, I apologise... I try playing these forums partial Cannon when I type, don't mean to offend anyone.

AND TO THE PM(s) I honestly WAS Kidding... I LOVE how this is playing out - I'm just jealous because I was kind of hoping it'd be a London based thing when realising it was coming from the UK... That's all! I promise! Embarassed

Well, that wasn't directed specifically towards you, Leyton. I've just been reading some posts complaining about the PM(s). I just thought that some people were being angered by something that wasn't the puppetmaster's fault.

If the UF person in Dallas doesn't pan out, my mother has all sorts of friends there. Just let me know if you'd like me to contact her.

Well that certainly seems like it could help. Hopefully one of them will be willing to if worse comes to worse.

"Lordy, Maude! What kind of trouble is that child of yours mixed up in?" Shocked

As I've just been informed. Having people not related to the game; isn't allowed or something of that nature.

Being a relative of a game player or not...

Edit: I'm starting to think Jason's a little more 'involved' than he's letting on. I'm still confused as to who told him about Project O... As no-one's owned up yet.

Update on the requests section of locatemyfriends.co.uk

Project Ophiuchus
So, while you guys are looking for the hidden thing in Dallas, I've been looking more into Project Ophiuchus. (Have you found it yet?),

I couldn't find out much, just the website really… http://projectophiuchus.com and some text which doesn't really mean a lot. From the comments you guys have been posting, you seem to know more about this secretive project, It'd be really helpful if I can have some more information.

One of the things that struck me was that Rebecca and Martin could be involved in 'Project Ophiuchus', some sort of secret project. Who knows, it could even be to do with Martin or Rebecca's work. I need to investigate more, but it'd be really great if you guys could tell me what you know. We're probably not going to get very far without that information.

Confused
Where did that come from?

Not to be combative or contrary or anything, but I'd like to know where that came from as well. Is there a rule I missed?

See, when I used to do the M. I. T. Mystery Hunt every year, we would rope in friends from all sorts of places. Of course, the Hunt lasted only for a weekend, so time was of the essence. Wink

Here in the P.O thread...

Wow... That's odd

I thought I would have missed a lot.

Anyone in the U.S with free/limited minutes to other states?

Possibly try asking a librarian to go fetch it and see what it is? lol

We can't ask someone who knows nothing about the "game" to do anything; once it's retrieved, we may never see it again.

It has to be one of us, in person, to do the retrieval.

But either way I've been misinformed; this is Jason's latest reply after me enquiring as to who told him about P.O...

Hi Leyton, I'm not sure who the person is who told me, they didn't leave a name...

" *24601*

Jason. What do you know of Project Ophiuchus?"

It's in one of the comments on the blog. I'm just thinking that the sooner we work out why Martin and Rebecca have been kidnapped, the sooner we can find them.

Have you found the thing that's stuck in Dallas yet? I'm thinking sending someone who's in the area is a good idea. Even if they're not interested in helping us find Martin and Rebecca.
J.
