Surprisingly elaborate Flash back end, I must say.

Going moderately OOG here... Is this game actually promoting anything, or is this a game made simply because somebody felt like it? Or is CERN running this ARG? Very Happy

Looks like the 1in50million intranet is live. We can gain access by registering on the site. Be careful about what you say or do there!

Looks like 1in50million's intranet went live over the last 24 hours. I really think this is our chance to uncover what was in the encrypted files. You can register on the intranet page on their site, and click on the link to login. One thing I'd say though, is to be careful about what information we communicate through their system. If they find out who we are, they could prevent us from discovering what's in the encrypted files.

Don't say you haven't been warned.

On a side note, it might be fairly useful to snoop around to see if there's any internal messages or chatter about Martin and Rebecca. Perhaps some of you guys could take shifts, because we never know what is going to be said and when. If you need to contact me through the intranet, my user name is 'Jason'. Good luck guys, I think we're on to something here.

So... who are we, exactly? Jason told us to pitch ourselves as looking for some missing friends, didn't he? In which case... I don't get it. Maybe I'm just being dense. Confused

I'm also lost on that as well. I mean, are we just to sit in the room and wait for someone that isn't one of us to come in and say the wrong thing?

What I really want to know is how to use the terminal. I mean, it's just sitting there waiting to be used.

I know, it's driving me nuts too! I've been trying to access the directory but it says I don't have 'proper authorization'...

I'm just sitting alone in the chat right now T_T lol.

I've never used DOS commands before, but I wikipedia'd them and found a bit of a list. I tried typing 'tree' and 'append' but it kept telling me 'invalid command'...

I tried 'ls' and 'dir' and it says "You are not authorized to access directory services."

I just got up to speed on both threads. I was looking for a new diversion since Eldritch Errors tanked. After reading 100+ pages from both PO and LMF, I guess I'm committed!

Looking forward to it...

edit: I'm having a conversation with Gerry the network administrator at the moment in the Network Chat area.
