Humorous Cloverfield Review
Trust me...

If any of you motherfuckers check out Aint-It-Cool-News, you might know who "Outlaw Vern" is. If not, you're an asshole.

Relax. I'm kidding. You're not an asshole.

Anyway, he writes some of the most amusing movie reviews, or as he calls them, "reviews on the films of cinema."

Anyway (yes, again), here's a link to his Cloverfield review, and a short preview, where he talks about how he thinks they could do the sequel:

http://www.geocities.com/outlawvern/ReviewsC.html#cloverfield

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
more and more shit will just keep hitting the fan. Still only one fan but just a huge amount of shit hitting it.

His website (or "web sight"): http://www.geocities.com/outlawvern/

Humorous shit...

You made it all the way down to "alot"?? I stopped at "giant monster named Cloverfield".

SuckaH - please rethink your statement. We try not to make such cruel statements around here. There might be members who have relatives who have Down Syndrome, or Autism, or Developmental Delays.

Lol, the three posts above kona obviously didnt try reading all the way through.

I did, and I have to say he's a lot smarter then you all make him out to be. While he may not have followed the Online stuff, he did like the movie alot it sounded like (he never gives it a final number/letter grade). But, I was happy to see him explain his reasons for liking/disliking things.

Point was, we were promised something funny. From what I read (which was actually most of it, regardless of what I said...yes, I know, I lied, lol, go see Dr. House about that), he was trying to be funny, but failed miserably. When he started getting serious, the review became tolerable, but I've seen enough reviews, so I couldn't care less...I was just promised something funny. I want hilarity, damn it! HILARITY! Laughing

It wasn't funny up to the point I stopped reading and I stopped reading because he used 'alot', which isn't a word. That kind of thing just makes you look foolish...

I like this review. It's neither a "I totally hate this" one or a "I'm so in love with this!" one. It's just a review by a normal guy who probably likes to watch movies a lot but doesn't go see one every single day, in theaters nor at home.

You know, I like to make fun of movies even when I like them. I'm a spoof nut. I can say stuff like, "yeah, that scene was way over the top" or "man, what a crummy line that was" and then I put in the dvd and watch it again anyway and totally immerse myself in it. This guy does that too.
