The last time I saw a guy in a reflection in a GMD game, he later got his head bashed in with a keyboard. I hope Mr. Cricket meets a much better fate.

Very Happy

That (apply laptop to head) was one of the best ARG moments ever. The best was seeing the reveal of having him ping out in IRC. Glad I was there for that.

/me totally gets the obscure references

(currently reading book 15 of the manga, makes me want to re-re-rewatch the series again)

(and SQWEEE! saw Vic Mignogna in person at a convention a few months ago, he's totally dreamy!)

Also, GMD was kind enough to leave me a gift as well.

A postcard - the one we received as part of the trailhead packages:

And, a Jolly Rancher... or maybe that was there all along....

SQUEE! Isn't he, like, the best? He's so great at cons ^_^ Especially his "Roy Mustang is dead sexy in a miniskirt" thing!

He is a great guy. I get to see him at conventions all the time, since he lives not too far from where I am.

Great fun with all those packages at GMD, definitely fun to see somebody actively "harrassing" them with little packages of our own during our time of nothingness... So sad to think that it's been a year since I first discovered this game and we've reached this dead end of sorts... oh well, one will only dream of a revival someday soon! Very Happy

I was privileged to receive a transmission from GMD's Brian Clark today, and here's what he had to say about the last round of "offerings" on his doorstep:
Quote:
ROTFL
live crickets
literally, here's the story feel free to share
I'm in a car with agency people I've never met
it is 6:30 AM, we're driving 2 hours from Chicago.
and my phone rings, and it is J.D.
transcript of conversation
-Brian: Hey, J.D.
-J.D.: Live crickets.
-Brian: Live crickets? LOL I guess that is better than a chalk pentagram.
-J.D.: Yup. We're taking pictures.
-Brian: Okay, talk to you later.
Now imagine just hearing my side of the conversation.
And what questions you might have for your new car guest.
we love you guys :-)
Mr. Cricket is the bomb
and all he got was a damn Jolly Rancher!
in no other genre
would such stalking behavior
make the victim smile and feel as loved :-)
love you guys, will make you glad you waited :-)
