As far as the "de" changing to "en", that doesn't prove it was anyone from the boards, PM's a lot of times will check out what discussions are taking place on boards.

I think aladygma is another ARG, unrelated to Cloverfield, but purposely riding the coattails of the Cloverfield hype to get the word out and increase the interest in whatever ARG this is.

i don't see how it's part of the Cloverfield experience.

Other the person who created it wanted us to think so, what better way to get publicity then to set up another ARG with the same successful elements as one much like Cloverfield, providing some kind of date, (if it is an actual date) cryptic messages and videos, and so on and so forth. The point is we know nothing about it, so there's nothing to say that it is cloverfield related and nothing to say it isn't. Until then i still think it should be moved to CF with potential, because it makes more sense, if it does turn out to be related i'm sure a mod, will move it to it's appropriate place.
