i see some connections with 9/11, aliens and the new whitespace and cloverfield.
9/11 and aliens :

new whtespace: an arrow comes up pointing to the Toxic Hazard sign from a little bottle close to the images of the Solar System, and then the humans fade out and out comes a odd creature looks like the Cloverfield Parasites in the face kind of, but also like a pod or baby frog. Another interesting thing is that the Solar System image has an arrow pointing from the third planet (Earth) to the little bottle image (Possibly the Tagruato Satellite?) It seems as if though they are trying to imply that the Satallite had something that would transform us. Another interesting thing after the 'alien' image appears a second rectangular box to the left of it also appears the one farthest to the left draws you to the Map/NewsPaper Image (9/11).

Hmmm....new Aliens movie? If this is the continuation of the Cloverfield ARG, this is WAY different than I thought it would be. None of this stuff appears to be related in any way, and they seem to be just...random.

Smells ARGy, but I'd be very surprised if it was Cloverfield related.

hhmm a few seconds after the alien appears another "Block" appears to the left.
if you click it it takes you to the subway map/ 9/11 newspaper

IMO, the only thing that keeps us interested about this story is that CLoverfield is in stupor, and we miss the action.

This "ARG" (IF it really is one, and not someone messing with us) is really lame and badly made. It seems not to be going anywhere, it fails to maintain your interest, it hardly makes sense, and it doesn't even seem to have original material.

I suppose, www.thewhitespaces.com is really either gamejack, or fake, just an OOG. Because the mov.-video on this site is named "Cloverfield".

I mean, if it were IG-site of (say) Cloverfield 2, the PMs wouldn't give this video such name.

And if it's an IG-site of any another ARG, the "Cloverfield" reference is really a little bit weird. OK, it could be a very postmodern ARG, about somebody a Cloverfield-fan, who... (use your imagination).

But I suppose, this is OOG.

The real IG pages don't significate anything about ARG itself. Like "Slusho!"-webpage had nothing "Cloverfield"-related.

I find it very odd that a site would tell you what to do (i.e. "follow the white spaces") rather than making you figure it out.

It's begging to be found and to me seems fake and too easy.

Well maybe [WILD SPECULATION]the white spaces will have importance in the ARG, like white dots in the white TV-noise or somethink like that. I've heard, this white noise contains some percent of the Big Bang echo. In this case it could be significant, who knows Smile

I'm still pretty firmly of the belief that this site is OOG, but could it be considered a coincidence that this as well as that new, supposed, Teddy video both have German language involved?

Not an earth shattering revalation, but a possible link/subtle coincidence.
